PERSONALITY - STUBBORN - SMART - VAIN - ARROGANT
Kelan is a very stoical and vain half-elf. When something doesn' suit him, he becomes very angry and short-tempered quickly. He is very confident of himself. He often does not realize that he is wrong or even overestimat himself.
He thinks strategically and with foresight, but that wasn't always like that. Years ago, he was still gullible and acting too fast. That brought him into a lot problems he could have had avoided.
He has a kind heart, spares his enemies too often, instead of wiping them out. He does not have the strengh to take a life. It is very difficult for him. His ideals often stand in his way, because he doesn't want to take life, but the enemy leaves no choice. He quarrels with his decisions and questions his ideals too much.
Kelan is very good with children. He can tell by facial features how his counterpart feels at the moment. His sense of justice surpasses even his self-love.
Without hesitation he would give his life for his closest friends and his great love Vallara. When he commits to someone, he does it for the rest of his life. He fell in love with the elf-woman years ago and all his attention is only for her. Nobody else is more important than her.
Kelan often has problems seeing his own self. Since thr daimonic soul - called Nalek - lives in his body, he often does not know who he really is. After some time, however, he has come to terms with Nalek's present and now gets along reasonably well with his uninvited guest. Nalek and Kelan are now working together, even though the daimonic consciousness often tries to take control. But Kelan quickly gets him back in his place.
Vallara rescued him from his death. When Kelan wanted to cross the emptiness between the worlds and fell from the roots of the World Tree. She took care of him. Helped him to remember what happend and told him what was happening in the worlds.
Kelan agreed to participate in a mission to drive away daimons from a montain. Vallara and a couple of other elves came along. He fell in love with the elven princess and his yearning for closeness grew bigger and bigger. Kelan watched as she was kidnapped and tried hard to get her back. Later she was pregnant and gave birth to his first daughter.
A couple of years later she gave birth again to his second daughter and a son. Vallara is a strong woman who can proctect herself. She often brings Kelan back to his senses and shows him his weaknesses, which he too often overlooks. She is his life for him and he is tied to her till his death. He adores Vallara and ften gives her presents.
he has a long head with a thin and pointy nose. His ears are longer than the ears of an normal elf. His eyes are green as grass with cat pupils. He wears golden earrings, that he never takes out. his eyes have a strange glare, that makes people in his near uncomfortable.
He is a man of handsome size. He has narrow hips and long fingers. As soon as he smiles he can charm people. The cut on his left ear was an attempt to reveal a Gestalt-thief. So Kelan's friends knew who the real Kelan was.
His hair is very thin and wavy sometimes. It feels silky and soft.
Nalek is the daimonic present in his body. The daimonic soul he has been carrying he was born. The crystal necklace he is wearing around hs neck- the drachenwind - is the only thing that suppresses Nalek.
Kelan knew nothing about him for a long time. He got the necklace from a good friend - who had known his mother well.
Nalek awoke as he felt the presence of another daimon. He became stronger and nourished the uncertainty of the young half-elf. Nalek started talking to Kelan. Telling him scary things and questioning his believes. Kelan accepted Nalek years after. They never will become friends, but they help each other, because one can not exist without the other.
Kelan likes to be alone to think about his fate. He doesn't want to be disturbed and gets angry when approached.
He likes to spend time in the longhouse of the kingdom. Doesn't like to drink mead, thought.
He is a skilled swordsman, but he can not fight with two blades at once.
He loves the night and often watches the moon for hours without moving. He often hums an elvish melody that he learned from Vallara.
He is a Dai'elva or Degra called. A hybrid of an elf and a half-blood daimon. His mother was a pretty elf woman which has died in childbirth because of Nalek. The daimonic soul has stolen her life force. His father - half human half daimon - who is now on the side of the enemy to protect his son.
A conceited and self-loving half-elf who has nothing better to do than question the judgments of others. He hates it if someone tells him what to do.
His actions have led the worlds into a war and he is now trying to get it right again. His guilty feelings often plague him.
Kelan often smiles sardonically. He still hasn't come to terms with his fate, but his companions are helping him move on.
Kelan has the ability to use magic. For this he uses the silver roots of the world tree Yggdrasil, which are invisible to the normal eye and wind across the worlds. He can access the power of Yggdrasil with the help of Baba. A little Gnom Woman that helps him understand the worlds energy.
He avoids shape shifting with magic because it is a painful process. If he needs to use it, he is a white crow.
He almost always wears his hair open. he only ties it together if he needs to fight someone.
His eyes have cat-like pupils, but they do not help him to see better at night. The look intimidating to others.
He often talks to Nalek aloud. Some people think he's crazy.
He loves strategic games, like chess.
The green crystal around his neck protects him from Nalek's power. It is suppressed so that the Daimon can not break out
