Back when Ken was a child he was close friends with another boy, despite how different their families were financially. As time passed, Ken's feelings for the boy grew stronger, and on the day he planned to confess his feelings he had learned that his friend and his family were gone, moving to a different country for work.

Even though they were separated for years, Ken never stopped thinking about his friend. He never had the chance to find him and contact him, but he still felt strongly for him. Then, as if by chance, he one day came across a poster advertising a touring K-Pop band, and on that poster was his friend, all grown up-- his looks were much different, but that smile was as recognizable as ever.

Ken bought tickets, he booked his flight, and immediately started listening to that band. He was a fan instantly, and was excited to see his friend again. They'd reunite and he'd finally confess his feelings. He eagerly waited for that day to come.

And when it did, he learned that it was all one-sided.

His friend was a completely different person and didn't recognize Ken at all, not even after he explained himself. Instead, the loving gaze he yearned for ended up going to his friend's bandmate, and all he got was a generic pat on the head.
The heartbreak consumed Ken, he wanted all the years he'd been pining back. Vowing to get revenge, he focused everything on starting his own band and destroying his "friend"'s.

Notes: Kenshin was never really meant to have a big chunk of my heart. My friend made a pop band set of OCs, and I wanted to, too. Next thing I knew, Ken pretty much wrote his own story and developed as I went along, and now he's my precious tsundere boy that needs all the love in the world.
I'm probably not going to put the rest of his band on here (except for, like, maybe one), so if you want to make any OC of yours part of his band then hey, by all means. It's a band of five btw.

Personality: The sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful man that will do anything for you. On stage.
Otherwise he's a complete asshole; bratty and self-centered, with a viciously low temper. He'll try to drag you down that way he can feel better about himself, but he gets very flustered and tongue-tied if you manage to throw his insults back at him.
Beneath all his layers, though, is still a guy recovering from heartbreak. He's lonely and insecure, but refuses to face it, and thus worsens his already bad attitude.

Drawing Details: Ken wears just about anything as long as it's red. His most seen outfit is a red sweater with a button-up underneath, and either jeans or brown slacks.

Fun/Extra Facts:

- His band's name is Kurai Arashi; it consists of five members, one of which is Prism Maryland

- A switch; top preference

- Kurai Arashi is a bit of a hybrid between pop and rock, they play upbeat music and have choreography, though also play instruments for many songs. Ken is the lead singer.

- Sometimes he's more willing to talk with his fists. His punches are strong, but his stamina is awful; one punch would exhaust him.

- Loves pulling pranks, hates being pranked.

- Plays otome games that feature his old crush. Also has a couple body pillows of him. It's actually... pretty sad.

- His old crush was a dual citizen of Japan and South Korea, hence him being in a K-Pop. Ken's is J-Pop, however.

- He loves mobile games in general and spends thousands of dollars on it. Especially Candy Crush.

- Cliche only child to rich parents, hence the unwavering support from them.

- Incredibly good at baseball. So good, in fact, that he would have had a promising future as a professional baseball player had he not focused on getting revenge.

- Despises any talk of the rival band unless it's to insult them.

- Doesn't show his real side around fans, or at least tries not to. Around any fans or anyone that knows who he is he'll stay in his prince persona.
