Like most aratalae, Gallus is quite calm and reserved unless he is angered. He is a creature with a large appetite and a large brain to match, and he accompanies Timmy.
He arrived to Earth with Timmy when they were simply doing reconnaissance. After Timmy's transformation into a human boy, it was decided that Gallus would stay on the Blue Planet with his companion.
Gallus gets along well with most, but he is genuinely unsettled by Madame Chi Chi. He doesn't take too kindly to creatures artificially made, especially ones with bananas growing on their neck and an eye-mouth.
Being a strange creature himself, he is kept secret from the Earthling public. He often wanders around laboratories, aiding in scientific discoveries when Timmy is at school.
