Hildigrim Whitberry

        Thin athletic build, dark curly hair (no facial/moderate hair on arms legs chest and feet), pointed ears that fold over at the tip like a Hobbit's, soft easy-blushed skin.

    Hildigrim was the unexpected, illegitimate child of one such Hobbit Marienne Whitberry, and Mirkwood Elf Milthean Tarros. He was born in the very common home of a Hobbit, where it was cozy, and especially lovely. His birth was surprisingly easy for Marienne as Hildigrim was at first quite small. Milthean had worried that the child would be difficult for them both, but he proved a relief. And though the couple separated a few years down the line, and Milthean was an absent father for the remainder of his childhood, Hildigrim was a positive spirit, and frequently wrote letters to his father. They were rarely returned, but he was glad that just sometimes, they were. His mother lives in the Shire presently; but Hildigrim spares her the embarrassment of socializing with her in front of the other Hobbits. Their gossip of course, ran rampant about his appearance and heritage throughout his life. He believed both his parents love him, but understands the civil role he plays by staying away from them most days. 

He elected to live on the border of the Shire in the Yellow Wood where he built his own home out of a hill where an ancient oak was deeply rooted above it. His few but close friends then called him Hildigrim Oakburrow. As the years crept by, Hildigrim socialized with the other Hobbits less and less. Eventually, his friends faded away and stopped coming to see him. He became somewhat of a hermit, and the Shire bloomed with all kinds of rumors about his origins, purpose, and life out there in the forests. 

Hildigrim quickly turned to figure of suspicious behavior; he gained a reputation for trouble, and was called many things, although the most common were Goblin in the Yellow Wood and Blackwart. Both eluding to some dark practice, making him a boogeyman and an uproarious and other times hushed topic at dinner tables. He was lonely. But always upbeat.

• Goes mushroom hunting, presses the pretty ones in a field guide he keeps. 
• Specializes in making Blackwart Brew; a simple but effective healing potion made from a rare fungi. 
• Smokes a short reed pipe with an oak leaf engraved in the side.
