If you ctrl+f "Options" in the code you'll find a section where you can modify parts of the code. Since this is a really simple layout there aren't any actual options, but I've pulled out the part where you can:
- modify thumbnail border/background colours

Main features:
- You can basically replace all the colours with a palette of your choice without worrying about whether anything still has a white background. See gallery for an example, colours are listed in the code.
