personality
Friendly and outgoing. Very selfless, caring for people is second nature to her. Usually cheery and optimistic, tries to hold back any negative feelings, to an unhealthy degree. Always gives people the benefit of the doubt. If someone actually manages to make her upset or make her dislike them, she avoids them and acts coldly. Bad tendency to blame herself when things go poorly or for other's wrongdoing. Goofy and ditzy, makes people often not take her seriously.
story
After spending her entire childhood taking care of her drug addicted mother, Amanda swore off letting toxic people into her life. Unfortunately, she sees the good in everyone. It's only natural that she should then end up with a drug addicted husband. It wasn't all bad, for a while. For a long time, he was clean, their band was rising up, they had made it. She was living the dream. But once at the top, it only went downhill from there. Farley relapsed, and never told her. His sudden outbursts and temper tantrums towards her said it all, though. Once it had gotten to be too much, Amanda decided alcohol wasn't an acceptable escape and "took a break" from Farley, moving out to live with Lucy temporarily. After spending so long taking care of others, through her depression, Amanda must learn to take care of herself. It ends up being harder than expected, once Farley turns up missing.
