Blood Tear Timeline
Guiren is the younger of Ren Siblings, younger brother of Kyren.
His family was a loyal retainer family which served Miyu's and Zixin's family for years. The retainer and the head family arranged Guiren and Miyu to marry once they were born, as a reward from the Emperor for the long undying loyalty towards the Head Family.
At first Guiren disliked the idea of being told he was forced to marry Miyu, and thus whenever Miyu and he would meet, he'd act rather fake towards the princess, but formal nonetheless. It wasn't until Miyu's affections towards him, changed his heart and made him fall in love with her.
However his family and brother's betrayal of the Head Family, Guiren's and Miyu's prearranged marriage had fallen apart once he became the new prince of the Red Kingdom Agana, and he was told to forget all about Miyu. His brother Kyren became the emperor and decided to keep the alliance of the Black Kingdom Ciar strong by telling Guiren to marry the Ciar's princess.
