Profile
Tiera | |
Tiera is a character featured in Taros. A man known for his almost serene basic expression, Tiera remains as a mystery to many: he is a silent man preferring alone time over social gatherings and has expressed his hesitance over becoming the head of the family. He was born in north and is considered a native northerner. His parents died when he was 12 and he was then adopted into a noble family in Nietas. Tiera cares about his adopted family deeply and is generally way more open around them than with anyone else, but has developed something of an inferiority complex due to his status as an adopted child from a simple family. Tiera's birthday is 21.12, making him a Sagittarius. He is ranked a noble but his occupation is a hunter and his class is a lancer. He uses wind magic and specializes in controlling cold temperatures. His primary weapon is a spear but he is also a very talented bow user. |

Appearance |
|
Tiera is a tall man, 185cm in height. He has a slim body type but wide shoulders and a strong, toned upper body compared to the rest of his body. Most of his strength lies on his arms and chest but he also has strong legs. He has a slightly darker skin compared to people native to Nietas due the fact he is from further north and part of the native people to north. He has blue eyes with outer corners pointing slightly up. His head is somewhat long and his jaw square. His hair is cream white, fluffy and often tied on a long and thick pony tail Tiera keeps on his shoulder (most often right shoulder) or against his back. His eyebrows are the same colour as his hair and are noticeably thick. He is most often seen wearing more traditional looking clothes, often consisting of red and natural white, as well as shades of brown. He tends to dress practically and doesn't really care about decorations, but as his adopted family is noble he tries to wear generally well designed and good looking clothes - as long as they are practical. |

Personality | |
Despite his status as a noble, Tiera has very little personal interest in the life of one. Instead of attending parties he is usually on a hunt somewhere, preferring the peace and quiet of nature over social gatherings. Although one could call him fickle for pursuing after his own dream instead of his family's, Tiera is very responsible and never misses any actually important meeting, party or some other social gathering he has to attend as a representative of his family. In this sense he is very dutiful, and if Tiera promises to do something, he will do his absolute best to keep his resolve. He takes pride in being truthful, honest and reliable, but he doesn't generally make his opinions known and only raises them if asked, or if he feels the situation really calls for it. |

Past | |
Tiera spent the 12 first years of his life on the border between North and Nietas where his family had been living for generations already. Due to the constant cold and harsh weather, Tiera fast learned how to deal with the cold and how to get by in almost year round winter. His family, consisting of mother and father, were both hunters and also herdsmen with reindeer. Following his parents practically everywhere they went, Tiera learned things like how to take care of reindeer and how to disembowel prey. He was a fast learner thanks to his internal need to be helpful and do things with his hands.
His parents died when he was about to turn 12. They both were fishing late at night when a storm attacked them, destroyed their boat and eventually drowned them. His father had gotten tangled up with the fishing nets and his wife had tried to help him but neither of them made it back alive. In fear of his home village reminding him of his parents, Tiera was sent to the closest relatives capable of taking children in. Although he was grateful of getting a new, loving home, going from a simple hunter family’s child to a noble was not easy for him: from his early teaching to his very personality he just didn’t seem to fit the stereotype of a noble even in the most vague sense. However, Tiera’s love for his new family and the fear of being inadequate made him very determined to learn the ways of nobles, and despite his many failures, he didn’t back down. It is currently unknown who Tiera ends up marrying exactly and what his children are like, but what is known that Virta is one of his grandchildren. . |
