Tiera

Tiera is a character featured in Taros. A man known for his almost serene basic expression, Tiera remains as a mystery to many: he is a silent man preferring alone time over social gatherings and has expressed his hesitance over becoming the head of the family. He was born in north and is considered a native northerner. His parents died when he was 12 and he was then adopted into a noble family in Nietas. Tiera cares about his adopted family deeply and is generally way more open around them than with anyone else, but has developed something of an inferiority complex due to his status as an adopted child from a simple family.

Despite his noble status, Tiera works as a hunter and often travels around the north of Agane. When needed, however, he will act according to his noble status. He is affiliated with Noë, and Yvonne is his best friend. He eventually marries later in life and his unnamed daughter becomes the mother of Virta. 

Tiera's birthday is 21.12, making him a Sagittarius. He is ranked a noble but his occupation is a hunter and his class is a lancer. He uses wind magic and specializes in controlling cold temperatures. His primary weapon is a spear but he is also a very talented bow user. 

Appearance

Despite his status as a noble, Tiera has very little personal interest in the life of one. Instead of attending parties he is usually on a hunt somewhere, preferring the peace and quiet of nature over social gatherings. Although one could call him fickle for pursuing after his own dream instead of his family's, Tiera is very responsible and never misses any actually important meeting, party or some other social gathering he has to attend as a representative of his family. In this sense he is very dutiful, and if Tiera promises to do something, he will do his absolute best to keep his resolve. He takes pride in being truthful, honest and reliable, but he doesn't generally make his opinions known and only raises them if asked, or if he feels the situation really calls for it. 

Tiera doesn't like big events and prefers solitude, but he isn't really a hermit or incapable of social interaction by any means. In fact, Tiera is rather talented at reading and understanding people, it's just that his highly introverted nature prevents him having much fun in big groups. They stress him out and the formality and strictness of such events feels very forced to him - especially since he is a child not originally born into a noble family. The man's quiet nature might make it harder to get to know him but Tiera is surprisingly open about many things, and if you just ask him, he will most likely answer.

Hunting and nature are his passion and he enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible. He is very knowledgeable about things like different animals, plants and anything necessary for hunting and surviving in the woods. While Tiera is usually silent, he gets talkative when it comes to his personal hobbies and interests, mainly hunting and nature. Even when he is not talkative he can keep up with a conversation with attentive nods and eye contact with the speaker.

He is somewhat insecure about his position in the family even though everyone loves him like their own, and this often leads Tiera doing things that he finds incredibly uncomfortable but somehow necessary to do for his family. Tiera is also known to be stubborn and moody at times, and it's sometimes hard to understand what he is thinking as he doesn't let much out on his own accord. He is also noted to be mercilessly witty when he is angered and he has a sharp tongue he isn't afraid to use if it really comes down to it. 

• Used to be dead afraid of water but by now he is only vary of it. According to Tiera, just seeing open bodies of water makes him "break into cold sweat". He is also not very trusting of icy lakes and the like, but hunting has made him more calm about crossing ice. His fears stem from the death of his parents, both of which lost their lives during fishing.
  
  
• Is known to be a talented spear user and sometimes during parties people want him to demonstrate his skills. Tiera happily obliges because this means he gets to go outside of their mansion instead of being indoors. 
  
  
• He is very respectful towards his prey and never kills more than is needed. He knows some old rites meant to honour the prey and the lesser gods of forests, hunt and other things related. 
  
  
• As his original family was from the border between North and Nietas he grew up with a few demons living in the same village. While Tiera believes in Miras, some of his hunting rites resemble the demon ones. This is simply because near North demons often share their own beliefs and rites with humans and they keep mixing. 
  
  
• Tiera is somewhat infamous for being really popular especially among women, and he has had a few uncomfortable cases of female and male admirers harassing and stalking him.
