Summary: Wes is an experienced Pokemon trainer coming from the desert of Orre. He is rather bad-tempered : he is not basically a bad person but is rude and rash. He does not care much for others and can act heartless. He does have some sensibility but would hate to admit it. He is moody, quick-tempered, boorish and grounchy and rarely shows friendliness.He will take any small job and would do anything for a pay. He does not mind having blood on his hands. Character Trivia
Wes is a personal interpretation of the playable character of Pokemon Colosseum. Then, he is not a fully original character, as his appearance and backstory are based on the game. However, his appearance changed a bit (I made him bulky and strong rather than the overly thin character you play in the game) and his personality is fully made-up. I just loved roleplaying him so much, having used him for years, I ended up considering him as my own character, like, my own Wes, my own version of Colosseum’s protagonist, and I had to keep him as a fan character.
Appearance
Wes is a relatively tough man : he has a strong and solid constitution, being somewhat stocky without being bulky. He is strong-builded and brawny, but it is not the kind of inflated and neatly chiselled muscle structure that have men that are adept of gyms and sport halls, it is rather the raw muscle structure, thick and strong, of the ones who works everyday by the sweat of their brow. Then, his body is more rectangular than trapezium. However, he is not much big, being around 174cm tall.
His skin is a bit tanned, but is still quite light for someone who lives in the desert. It can show some imperfection, mostly some drying out. The chin is often covered by some nascent facial hairs, like a two or three days old beard, but not more.
His face shows a somewhat square chin, while still being quite thin, like the "diamond" face type (please do not draw a pointy triangular chin). His face is trimmed by a pair of thin and long eyes with animal-like yellow iris, a somewhat thickset nose (but not a potato neither), and a mouth made of a pair of thin and not much coloured lips. The whole is topped by an uncertain shock of hair, of a rather light brownish colour, coiffed in a rather random way, with a two-parts fringe at the front, and some long strands of hairs stretching backwards, giving him the look of a unkempted hair manga character.
Overall, Wes simply has dull and ordinary traits, being neither pretty nor ugly.

Umber, Umbreon ♂

Personality :
Calm and serious, Umber is from far the most serious member of the team. He is reasoned and down-to-earth, relatively imperturbable, and often feel like he is in charge of the others, having to calm them down and reason them. He sometimes struggle to tolerate them, finding them uselessly noisy and fidgety, but does not hate them for all that. He often acts cold and distant, being very little demonstrative of his feelings and friendships.
He is very attached to his trainer and vow a strong esteem an a total respect to him. His fidelity and devotion being absolute, he is reay for anything for his owner. Obedient, docile and strong-willed, he gives him all to satisfy him. He is audacious and courageous and will never retreat in front of adversity, fighting to the end, even when his defeat is assured.
He is resistant and tough and is able to take blows. However, his attack is rather weak. He is a defender, absorbing the ennemy's hits, playing on defense and duration, especially with Toxic, rather than brute force.
He is really close to his trainer who considers him his best friend, and they understand each other really well. Umber often stays out of his Pokeball, following Wes in his trips.
Amber, Espeon ♂

Personality :
Sweet and discreet, Amber always appears calm and staid. Nonchalant, he never is fidgety nor noisy, trying to always appear elegant. He is affectionate and cuddly. Sometimes imposing his affection to others without being concerned about their disagreement.
He is somewhat mannered, overacting his attitudes and sometimes seems a bit effeminate. He shows a certain self-confidence, sometimes acting mocking and conceited, but this is only attitudes. He actually is not that sure of himself or of his power, and easily takes fright in front of adversity, doubting of his victory. Despite this, he never retreats and always gives the best of himself, even if he is sure to be defeated.
He is in love with Umber and acts clingy and insistent with him, what irritates the grumpy umbreon quite a few. The shadow-type does not return his affection, but Amber does not seem to mind it and does not reduce his attempts.
Just like Umber, he is really close to Wes and usually walks free out of his Pokeball.
Sekhmet, Absol ♀

Personality :
Sekhmet the Absol was a shadow Pokemon, but her purification went wrong, and she seems to still be half shadow, easily entering in a state that looks like the Hyper Mode.
(Reminder of Colosseum's storyline: Pokemons are turned into fighting machines, called "shadow Pokemons", by the ennemy team. Their mind is closed, they lose their soul and personality and have no emotions. They sometimes enter in some rage, called Hyper Mode. It makes them more powerful but they may disobey their trainer or even attack them, and they may hurt themselves. )
Sekhmet is aggressive, instinctive and irrational, being able to enter in angst without any reason. Yet, she looks empty and emotionless beside this irrational rage. She does not know joy, fear nor sadness, she does not even seem able to think or feel, as if she was just a killing machine. Incidentally, she can kill a human without any hesitation, riping them with her claws. Her eyes and pupils often are dilated and her eyes are fixed, empty and lifeless, but still seems to show a deep angst.
However, she is truly devoted to her trainer and would never attack him, and will defend him against any one that may attack him. The problem being that she does not know the difference between friend and ennemy and she may attack anyone that approachs him.
Jude, Feraligatr ♂

Personality :
Grumpy, moody, and grouchy, he always pull a face, looking bad-mooded, without really looking agressive. He looks like he is fed up with everything, everytime. Being relatively nonchalant and lackadaisical, he is often slow and not much active, crawling when he has to move, staying unmoving when he does not. He is lazy and does not show any enthusiasm, like if he never likes anything. However, when in a fight, he suddenly awakens and can show a true ardour, even a real excitement, as if battles where the only thing that may gets him out of his glum torpor. However, he stays a stubborn and can be disobedient, sometimes chosing by himself the attack to use rather than the one ordered by his trainer.
Wes often uses him to turn the screws on people he wants informations from. Jude likes to make ostages panick by threatening them with his impressive fangs, until they end up giving the needed information.
