Esmé

Personality, traits and abilities:

Esmé is easy to simplify as a rather wayward person. She clearly lives in the moment and is prone to making and changing her decisions on an impulse. She seems rather lively and open, but in a way that leaves a lot to be specified. 

She especially tends to keep her worries and cynicism to herself and has a fear of showing weakness to others, one that she likely wouldn't admit even to herself. She has been trough a lot already even at her age, and has a bad habit of suspecting and even sabotaging her own happiness out of fear of it being taken away from her first.

Perhaps the biggest reason Esmé's still kicking is her "because fuck you" attitude and the drive to prove that she's able to keep going against all expectations. In her mind to live is to take everything you got out of your senses and abilities, and stretch their limits as far as you can to make the most out of the worst of situations. This way when your body passes on, you may rest knowing you've brought yourself as far as you, or anyone else, could ever bring you. She is headstrong and independent, but deep down she does yearn for company and seeks it out out of instinct. It'll take some more positive reinforcement, but she's slowly learning to accept that maye she doesn't have to take on the world all alone.

Esmé's movements are agile but this comes at a price of being somewhat frail. Her primary role in a group is that of a scout and when it comes to combat, she certainly favors bladed weapons over pure hand-to-hand combat. She rather leaves strategizing to someone else and goes with whatever job she's given, but is likely to flee if a situation feels bad enough.
