Clothing Style

Bailey's work outfit consists of a white and cyan accented shirt and pants set along with appropriate foot protection (along with gloves or a mask when needed). When off the job, she has a rather classy, feminine, and prim style, even in some of her casual outfits. She tends to prefer tasteful dresses or a blouse with a skirt, typically pencil skirts, and although she always wears practical footwear on the job and when necessary, she does enjoy wearing various kinds of heels, ranging from simple to flashy depending on how she feels that day. She does dress more casually when at the beach, and she prefers some kind of light blouse/top with shorts, a skirt, or kapriis if not planning on swimming. Her swimwear is usually one piece or a two piece with a more covering top than a bikini, and she usually brings a sunhat, sarong, and/or shawl with her. Bailey's favorite kind of design is either simplistic monochrome or color blocking.

Personality

Bailey is a methodical and mature woman who prefers to keep her life organized and well structured. She is very focused on her goals and performance in her workplace, and while responsible and reliable, she sometimes forgets to make time for recreation. She usually relies on Cyan to invite her to do things since she rarely thinks of fun things to do on her own. She can be a bit too serious and stiff at times, and she acknowledges she doesn't really have a good sense of humor. She doesn't always love this quality, but she doesn't try too hard to change it. Instead she relies on Cyan to be the source of spontaneity in her life, and although she can sometimes be confused or flustered by Cyan's odd behavior, she enjoys the change of pace.

She feels most comfortable when her life is orderly and she can approach things methodically. She is always punctual and gets annoyed easily by lateness from others, and she tends to not take interest in topics that she's not strongly affected by or involved with. She can come off as a bit of a snooty, classy woman, but she does have a good heart and genuinely cares for each of her patients and other people in need.

Backstory

Bailey has lived in Shakelde, Aaquanixie her whole life, and she lived a rather simple, comfortable, and somewhat sheltered life with her parents. She decided she wanted to go into the medical field rather early on, partially because her father was a plastic surgeon and partially because her mother worked in a retirement home. She wanted to have both the medical training along with being able to tend to people in need, so she decided to become a nurse.

She wouldn't describe her life as particularly exciting aside from doing excellently in her studies throughout her schooling and into college, and although she was happy with her progress she didn't feel like she was particularly close with that many of her peers. Some unexpected excitement entered her life when she befriended a fellow med-student a year ahead of her, Cyan Shank. Over the years the two became close, Bailey both confused and attracted to her somewhat odd manner of flirting and her rather intense passion for both the career field and for her.

Currently the two are both working at the same hospital, Bailey often assisting Cyan with her work when needed. They've been in a relationship for years now, and she's been wondering if Cyan ever plans on going further with it. Although Bailey was never into Cyan for her money, she's somewhat hoping they'll end up living together at some point since her own apartment is rather lacking so far.
