Nyako is usually very happy, and will purr to show it. She loves decoden and decorating with a passion, and this is something that helps her relieve stress. She gets this stress from school, as she often struggles to keep up with the class work. However she isn't stupid, she's just an airhead. Usually dreamy and happy, she's oblivious (due to dissasociation, that is coping method for stress)- and this sometimes hurts her. Most see her as a lovable dumb type, and her friendliness attracts others to her.

-- Backstory --
She was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. As a child she was good at school, and had a few close friends. As she grew older she became more friendly which attracted others to her. She's not exactly popular, she's more average in that sense. However her grades have became horrid because of her disassociation and daydream state during class.
Currently she goes to a high school, and barely made it in because of her grade on the entrance exam. Her parents tell her that her grades don't matter, but she wishes they would push her to do better. Her close friends are Madeline and Inuka. Madeline helps push Nyako to study while Inuka is a friend to have fun with, but they all get together great.
She's so oblivious because of her disassociation- which she uses as a coping method for her suffering grades and insecurities. When she's not disassociating, she can break down crying because she'll get so upset. But she tries to keep a positive and cheerful attitude the best she can.
Nyako identifies as a lesbian, but her parents don't know yet. Scared of what her parents might think, she hasn't even tried to mention her sexuality around them.
-- About her cafe work --
Nyako works in a maid cafe in Akihabara, Tokyo, Japan. She's technically not allowed to work at the cafe due to school rules, but she does it to keep herself busy and to have extra money for her hobbies. At work she goes by the name "Strawberry". She's popular at work, and often has customers requesting her. Since she loves cosplaying, she loves her job and thinks it's a lot of fun. It's not something she wants to do forever, but as a highschooler it'll suit her.
-- Inspiration for Nyako --
When I first became a furry, I desperately wanted a fursuit. So I combined all my favorite things (cats, pink, and girliness) into one character- thus Nyako was born. She is a tuxedo cat because my first cat was a tuxedo.
My first cat, Lady. Lady was very close to me growing up and I will never forget her. Hopefully the memory of her can live on with Nyako.
Nyako is suppossed to represent 3 things: love for anime and Japanese culture, love for youth and childhood, and the love I have for Lady. I consider Nyako to be my fursona, however she is not "me" but she is a lot like me.
-- Nyako's Fursuit --
Nyako was made into a fursuit in the summer of 2016. At the moment (7/16/17) she is only a partial and not a fullsuit. She has a head, paws, tail, and feet. I am the single performer of Nyako, so if you ever see her in real life- that's me!
