Andor

BIO

Andor was born in Norway where he was raised by his two very strict parents. His parents, who both attended medical school hoped that Andor would follow in their footsteps. However, Andor had other ideas. Andor was drawn to the arts, and even from a young age he hoped to pursue a career in the arts. As Andor grew older, his relationship with his parents only got more strained. They continued to try to get Andor to live up to their high standards, but he couldn't do it. 

Andor eventually moved to Vancouver, Canada where he attended art school in order to pursue his dreams of becoming a comic book writer. He also very strategically chose this location in order to put a very considerable amount of distance between his parents. While Andor took his studies very seriously, he also took advantage of the fact that his parents couldn't tell him what to do anymore. He never passed up an opportunity to attend parties or hang with his friends. At some point, he discovered that he could read minds. Even though the discovery was really exciting for him, he decided it would be best if he kept it a secret. 

Andor had initially intended on returning back to Norway after he finished his degree, but figured he would have an easier time finding work if he stayed in Canada. However, like most artists, Andor had a very hard time finding work. He eventually got a full time job as a barista at a local cafe, a second job as a bartender, and did some freelance illustration jobs on the side. 

It was at his job at the cafe where he eventually met Ara. Ara was Andor's exact opposite in almost every single aspect, however they did find out that they had one thing in common. Ara also had the same mind reading and telekinetic abilities that Andor had. Ara was determined to figure out the source of their power, so he kept in contact with Andor, the only other person he knew with these abilities. While the two got along for the most part, Ara's type A personality had started to rub Andor the wrong way, as it reminded him of his parents. Ara was quick to pick up on this, and told Andor that he would help him pay his rent as long as he kept quiet about their powers. Andor had been on the brink of being evicted and agreed to Ara's deal. In return, he also agreed to help Ara find the source of their powers. 

 Personality

Andor is a very social and extroverted guy. He loves to meet new people and makes friends wherever he goes. He is charming and confident, and doesn't really care all that much about what other people think about him. Andor is also known for keeping things light as he has a good sense of humour. He is also very creative and always tries to keep an open mind. 

Andor has often been criticized for being too impulsive. He tends to say whatever comes to mind without thinking. He is also rebellious and hates being bossed around so he tends to be stubborn at times. Andor is also a big procrastinator and will put off doing things he doesn't want to do for as long as he possibly can, because of this, he sometimes comes across as being lazy and disorganized. 

 Relationships with other Characters

Ara: Andor and Ara first met each other at Andor's work. They were quick to realize that they both shared the same abilities and decided to keep in touch so that they could learn more about their powers. They were also quick to realize that they have very little else in common. While the two get along for the most part, they tend to find themselves at loggerheads, often over minor things due to their clashing personalities. 

Random Facts

• He gets really grossed out by blood. It sometimes makes him pass out. 
• He has photographic memory
• He hates pineapple (especially on pizza, but also just in general). 
• He has ADHD 
• He actually has told a few friends about his abilities. They were all very drunk and none of them believed him. However, Andor has never mentioned this to Ara.
• His natural hair colour is blonde. He initially dyed it blue, but when his parents found they got mad told him to dye it a different colour, so he chose purple, which only made his parents even more mad.
• He got his tongue pierced on a dare
• He knows how to play the piano, thanks to being forced by his parents to take lessons when he was younger.
