Symphorica is a suave, confident and charming Traveller Faelidh who makes herself very known once the festive season arrives! While her demeanour is passive and quiet, she can charm anyone with her smile. Her job as a Traveller Faelidh is to fill the world with the creations of an Artisan Faelidh, and the Artisan she collaborates with is her hard-working brother, Hawthorn. While Hawthorn spends most of his time in solitude and working, Symph is the opposite: she's a social butterfly who adores being in the company of other Fae. (Especially the ladies, oop!)
Species lore
Faelidh are teeny little creatures that are responsible for the upkeep and care of worlds! There are two breeds - Artisans and Travellers. Artisans, the non winged ones, are responsible for creating anything that worlds may need, whether its dyes for changing leaves, a new winter fur coat for animals, crafting the morning dew, or creating snowflakes-they do it all! Travellers, the winged ones, are responsible for bringing the work that the Artisans have done and putting it into the specific world, as their wings enable them to cross through the veil from their world to others!
Being in the Winter caravan, her brother creates winter berries, foliage and festive sparkle. She distributes it wherever she can, using her brother's work to spread cheer. Their collaborative work attracts a lot of attention, and while Symph loves to revel in others admiration, she feels disheartened that her brother prefers to hide away and work. She wants to pull him out of his shell and help him see more of the world, and meet those who admire what he makes. In the meantime, she will keep partying and smooching all the pretty lady Fae she meets.
Brother
Her brother, Hawthorn, is the Artisan Faelidh who crafts an array of festive foliage and glitter. Their personalities suit their roles: while Hawthorn prefers to work in solitude, Symph loves nothing more than to spread her wings and fill the world with sparkle. Unlike Hawthorn, she has a booming social life and many admirers of her placement of Hawthorn’s creations. Once she returns, Hawthorn is always happy to hear that his hard work pays off, although Symph longs for her brother to relax and enjoy himself with his friends. He’ll learn!
