Purple and snow loving, cracker eating, father of three girly girls

"When I'm stuck out in the cold, let me be warmhearted"     

~For King and Country "Wholehearted"

 I stood silently behind the giant fir tree, watching as the two little pink wolves endured yet another session of torment.

What kind of father was this monster? He didn't deserve these two beautiful girls.

I felt like I should jump in and help.

But he was bigger than me, and I was afraid, so I remained hidden.  

Days passed as I lived my life, continuing to stop by the fir tree every day on my way home to "check on" the two girls.

Every day, the same. Once I think the smaller one made eye contact with me as if  she were silently pleading for help.

My heart split apart.

    I had to do something, I thought, but still, my feet remained planted to the ground.

One day, I decided I would start visiting later in the evening in case the father wasn't present at this time.

I came every evening at just past dusk, and waited. Waited on one of them to appear so I could help. Nothing.

But then....it happened.

A small pink figure bounded toward me one night. 

"Mister, mister, I have seen you behind this tree so many times. I can see in your eyes that you want to help us. My name is Rosia, and my sister Beth is still there, still being hurt...could you rescue her?"

The tiny wolf clung onto my fur for dear life, her tears freezing onto me as they entered the chilling air.

  Now that I was face to face with this innocent victim, my courage finally found me.

"I will do everything in my power to save her, dear. I will fight for her. Lead the way."

And so we went. Little Rosia showed me the way to their father's den.

I was shaking with fear, but I knew that I must do this.  

The monster emerged,  his eyes soulless and cold, as if he had lost all meaning and light in his life. 

I expected so much more from him. He was a gigantic former alpha. But now he stood before me withered and decayed, not from age, but from the loss of everything that mattered to him and regret.

Despite his ccondition and clear remorse, he still lunged at me, so I retaliated, and a battle begun.

I can only guess he acted this way to protect his pride.

As I was about to make one last swipe, he simply gave up

He fell

Not to rise again

I couldn't help but feel a bit guilty as he lay before me, with so many unspoken apologies locked inside.

But I knew it was for the best.

   I was the victor, and the girls were free

Both of the small pink wolves hurried to me and bombarded with thanks,

"Thank you mister black wolf!! Thank you so much!!"

"Call me daddy, girls."

Jojo is what is known as "Frost Wielder", meaning that he gains strength and heightened awareness from the cold. He adores snow and remains in it whenever he possibly can. He is outgoing and friendly, he loves smaller creatures, and has a strong sense of justice. However, he does get jealous very easily, and can be unreasonably overprotective. He adores anything purple.

And he especially loves Beth and Rosia to no end.
