Biography

For the most part, the world's governments cooperate with the Council of Welshara when it comes to making cities where monster people can hide. The council and the country agree on a city, and that city gets a glamor field that allows monsters to disguise as humans. While Russia keeps magic a secret so as to not be actively destroyed by the council, they have not agreed to maintain glamored cities in Russia and in fact have gone so far as to persecute monsterkind and run them out.

While Petrov was born in Russia, the harsh climate against monsterkind eventually forced him and his family to America as refugees. As a foreigner, he grew up a bit of an outcast. He got very good grades in school, but had a very hard time fitting in. He began trying to observe his classmates to understand them better, but instead found them falling for the wrong crowds, and gradually became aware of how often the magical community was lulled into crime.

After he graduated, he aimed to become a police officer, and went to a police academy, but corruption amongst the police force caused him to leave and become a private detective instead. He's grown to become a bit of a legend amongst the community, known for capturing numerous high profile criminals. He's even building a case against Sirina Darkflame, the city's #1 crime lord.

In recent years, he's earned a friend and ally in the form of Komadori, who now acts as his secretary and assistant. She's certainly helped him open up a bit and he considers her a bit of a surrogate daughter.

Relationships

Komadori On some level or another, Petrov realized that Komadori needed a father figure, and slowly began to open up to her, and Komadori has done so in kind. Now they're inseperable. Petrov is really protective of Komadori but acknowledges that she's an adult and should be allowed to risk her life if she wants to.
