for this I picture Caige being Os' mailperson, whom Os has taken to sitting out on his porch waiting for the mail bc he's an impatient dweeb (though it's really bc he's a journalist w no stories :^( ). Everyday Os tends to be a bit of a buttmunch and not thank him until at some point when it's raining and Os thROws an umbrella / or invites him inside until it stops (or at least onto a porch).
im literally so tired rn so im just going to edit this when i don't have only like 2 hours of sleep //weeps

Oo, I can see that! Caige would probably greet him daily with a smile and a wave, but from what I can tell of Os, probably wouldn't get much a response back from? He would definitely appreciate the umbrella or invitation under a roof and would maybe try to do something for Os on one of his days off?

But! Os wouldn't respond probably, just stare in mild apathy and watch before eventually offering grunts or something in greeting and evolves from there as Os gets more and more used to the other presence. bUT if Caige did something for him Os would shut down, he doesn't do well with being able to reciprocate things?? Would probably sit intisde for a few days, avoid going out when he normally did and eventually leave a letter or something addressing Caige. //finger gusn

For the first two or three times that happens, Caige would probably not expect any greeting in return and would be a bit awkward after maybe a minute of being stared down. But after those few times, he'd likely get used to it and would patiently waut for the greeting rather than leave immediately.
With the shutting down, Caige wouldn't notice at first since he'd think of it as Os simply not being around at delivery time, but after a day or two of it, he would be concerned about if something hsppened. He'd definitely berelieved at the letter though-
