Update notifications to show that you have unread messages in your inbox if you're in the menu on mobile
On my phone I keep a tab open that's always on notifications... so i don't notice I have a new PM until much later
Bulletins, notifications, communications all show me that I have messages... but I'll only know that I have a new PM if I actually check my inbox
1) it might be cute to get birthday notifications for characters! (like when theyve been posted for 1 whole year etc)
2) also would be nice to set creation date different than upload time, for people uploading old characters who might find it neat to see their actual ages (though I get that might be messy with validation issues? if upload time is still recorded i dont think it should be as much of a problem)
to add to @teddy-bear's suggestion, ive see websites with written profiles that allow you to select "major update" or "minor update" when changing them, with minor not giving a notification and major giving a notification alongside a little user provided description of the change o/ i think that'd be the most user-friendly way of implementing notifications for character updates?

Shinxi Requests for More Authorization options is pretty common, so we're looking at ways to add more privacy control/flexibility. No promises if the option to authorize specific users will happen though...
Sorting for images/favorites/etc is also widely request but we're trying to figure out if its possible/how it might look so that's a bit farther out there I think. Thanks for the suggestions!
Bro We won't be returning to the previous text-editor, but I'll ask and see if its possible to bring back some of the old features.
Also, I hope you don't mind me asking, but what about the new text-editor is hard to use? We've heard this comment a few times, and honestly, its kinda surprising because in all aspects the new text-editor is an upgrade and it doesn't break pages anymore. Is it just different features or is something about it hard to navigate... the usage of icons that are somewhat arcane and hard to understand...?

Re: 2 I am not 100% certain, but I have a feeling this may not be possible because of the way things are coded. I'll check in, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
feather--weather Mobile is ... well, mobile is what happens when no one on the team is a mobile-optimization person, so yeah. Bugs. Lots of them. Really sorry about that, we're working on it. T_T; Sorry that's about all I can promise right now as we try and learn.

minsu For the birthday notification suggestion, could we also set the character creation date ourselves should that idea get implemented? That way people who mass uploaded their characters when first making their account wouldn't be overwhelmed every time that time of the year comes around c':
I think it'd be nice if there could be a way to choose whether or not we want tabs to be available for selection when we're choosing a character for an IC post, tagging characters on an image, etc.? Personally, a lot of my tabs are just for old designs, so I know I won't select it. But because of the number of them, it kind of clutters up the selection thing? Also, it'd be nice if there was an option of what folder you want the selector to open up to each time. I noticed that it always opens to Unsorted, rather than the folder that is set to be the default in settings (I have mine set to All Characters, for instance). I feel like it'd be a bit quicker to remove the step of switching to a new folder, though it's not a big deal.
And I know literature pages aren't out yet, but since the to-do lists says they'll be coming soon, I thought I might make this suggestion? I don't know what exactly is planned for it (so I don't know if this is already planned or anything), but I think it'd be cool if multiple characters could be tagged to the literature page, like how images are. Or maybe just a section where the characters involved (with links) could be listed?

So this is the character select window with the tab in question. As you can see, it's in unsorted, right next to our spacey death god.
Here is unsorted in the character list. As you can see, our tab is not here.
And neither is it here, in the character management screen.
And here is the root character (as well as a lot of other cutes (and some trash belonging to me)) As you can see, our tab is not here either (if I could move it around folders it would be sorted into here though).
So what I'm saying is that the tab is pretty much non-existent
Also, @ re2; I can totally understand if coding prevents such a feature! I'll just get off my lazy bum when the time to switch tabs comes lol.
Maybe I'm totally missing something, but it seems that the new text editor doesn't have the same resizing features for images as the old one. I don't remember it exactly, but I know for sure the old insert-images feature in posts allowed you to lock the dimension ratios so when resizing you could slap in a height or width and not have to worry about warping your image. This version gives you no options to have the ratio locked or not and doesn't even give you the original height and width to start with. It would be nice if that feature was added back in, since shooting in the dark for the right ratio or having to do the math yourself or use another tool to figure it out seems like a waste of time. I've kinda just stopped including images in posts because I don't want to bother figuring out the correct ratio since the feature doesn't include it anymore and most of my images are too big to post without resizing somehow. ^^;
And I don't know what anyone else thinks of it, but I think the floating toolbox for modifying an inserted image should appear maybe at the top of the image instead of the bottom. It's bothersome to scroll down to find it. Or maybe on the side if anyone's worried about it covering up text above the image for some reason, I dunno, I just think the bottom is a weird place to appear since you have to go to it if your image is large rather than it appearing for you in a convenient place.

two options for wysiwyg: one for profiles & one for forums. i switch between the two often enough to get confused and completely... ruin my OC profiles 😅 took a while but i got it back in order. it'd also be nice to not have to type in all of the individual tags when i want my posts to read like a normal person wrote it 😝
To kind of piggyback on the last comment ^ it'd be nice to have the WYSIWYG toggle option in the profile itself, kinda like how it was before. But rather than how it used to take you back to the front page when switching (idk why it did that) it'd just take you back to the same page you're editing on. It'd make editing characters a bit easier, especially if you use both regular html and WYSIWYG for different profiles. ; v ;
