I'm unable to reply to the announcment, but I HAD to say thank you for this feature, it is the most incredible and perfect thing oh my gosh. I'm able to have tabs for my shapeshifter's forms ect and it is SO NICE

SUGGESTION THOUGH : 
She's a shapeshifter with tabs, 8 tabs for different forms she uses. It says she has 72 images, but with all her images from all the tabs, she has almost 200 images!
I'd just like a quick little toggle button on "Edit Character" page that says
"Show image count for all tabs : yes/no"
That would be SO nice, because they're all HER art, they're just in tabs now. :D

I noticed this thing with one of my characters as well! She has like 100 or so images on her but pretty much all of it but 7 got sorted into tabs, and it's so weird how she went from being the character with the most art for miiiiiiiles to being in the big 7 club lol

Yep! Either way, having the TOTAL number of artworks for that character+tabs, or having an option to show one, or the other, would be super helpful!
Yes, +1 for you! Though it would be cool if we could choose what tabs would show in the image count and what wouldn't. For example, if somebody wants to hide images of a basic tab (Like a human form) and not from another (Like an AU which feels almost like an entirely different OC).
This should be a thing, i have a shapeshifter with multiple forms and each one has a tab, its frustrating as heck to not know the whole image count D:
oh yeah +1 from me too :0 esp since i've been moving full profiles to tabs some of my characters have gone from having nearly 50 images to like... 6... according to their stats or w/e
I would love this; one of the reasons I avoid using tabs is because this issue can give a false impression of which characters you use most.

I just started using private galleries for my characters and the image counts look so WONKY now because of it. I can see the 30 images in the private gallery but they can’t so it’s just 10 images but it says 40 on the side and it’s so frustrating 😭

no i mean, this thread is a old suggestion *asking* for them to add it to count those images as well. Its the complete opposite of what you're wanting XD
4 years ago (when i created this suggestion), tab's images did not add to the count at all, which made it look like characters with many tabs/forms ect, only had 2-3 images, instead of the possible hundreds that were stored away in tabs. <3 So this suggestion thread was to ask for them to add the feature that you're trying to avoid now.
