Title says it all! I figured this would be pretty fun?? Also this is my first game-ish(?) thread so hopefully people find this interesting?? ;;w;; Anyway, I love to think about what kind of music my OCs would listen to and I'm curious to see what music other people have their OCs like and enjoy ovo
So, yea, just post IC with what kind of music your OC likes! You can give a general answer like certain music genres or name actual music artists! Feel free to link a sample song or two if you want!
Also I urge for you to come back and post with a different OC (maybe wait like 2-3 posts before you post again though!)!

well I wont use any of my musician ocs here because the answers would be too obvious haha. Kaza I feel listens to what bands like malice mizer, moi dix mois, lareine, Schwarz stein, D, BLOOD, velvet eden, versailles, scarlet valse ect. the visual kei bands that are very gothic or lean towards victorian and lolita aesthetics.

Ira's kinda a weird case tho bc originally I had him listening to 70s rock because that's what his dad listened to and while he hated his father, he did shape a lot of his life and personality. also, it gave him an old man vibe despite him being in his early 20s. then I got obsessed with Mindhunter and moved the story back to being set in the late 70s early 80s but I couldn't change his music taste because I love 70s rock so much lol so now it's the same except it's there to show that even though on the outside he seems like an out of touch hard ass like his dad was, he's still just a guy in his 20s that listens to popular music
also, his favorite bands are Blue Oyster Cult and Led Zeppelin
Cosmo here likes Imagine Dragons (heads-up: a majority of my OCs like Imagine Dragons because I do. Don't judge us.) Owl City, Panic! at the Disco and maybe Maroon5 too. His sister Luna likes many of the same artists as Cosmo, while his other sister Nicole doesn't share her siblings' taste in music and prefers artists like Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and Meghan Trainor.
I feel like yuriko would listen to older music, sorta reaching "boomer dad" territory (oingo boingo, the talking heads, etc) and occasionally music she liked back in middle school (childrens' anime openings and the shadow the hedgehog soundtrack) but like...if you were to ask her, she'd just put on the most cursed shit imaginable just to mess with you
🌰 Deez nuts 🌰 would listen to sorta indie bands: the neighborhood, tame impala, the arctic monkeys, basically whatever tumblr alt girls were listening to back in the early 2010's....i feel like she'd LOVE jack stauber too...
🧚 Crystalline 🧚 would probably listen to bardcore and music box songs; i feel like she'd enjoy ABBA, alex G and TV girl
🌈 Renée ashbridge 🌈, just like dee, would listen to a lot of 2014 alt girl music; but while dee's taste is more grungy, renée is moreso hipster. She'd mostly listen to indie folk music such as mumford and sons and vance joy, i also feel like she'd LOVE owl city (fitting considering she's a bird)
