Long story short, I'm a sucker for characters who have some kind of involvement in the mafia incorporated into their stories! I always enjoy seeing how they approach the subject and integrate it into a character's backstory.
So, show me your mafioso!! All kinds are welcome; your typical italian mobster, ex-mafia members, even those from areas other than italy. Those with stories relating to similar groups, like the Yakuza, are welcome here as well!
Flacon here is literally the leader of a mafia-esque organiztion called Monochrome Group, along with my character Brand.
My char, June, from the same setting is also the co-leader of a more gang-like mafia called the KGB with her brother who belongs to a friend. And Paddy and Nadja here works for the same group.
Pretty much the whole setting they're from is based on two mafias/gangs trying to take control of the city they're in, I love it, haha.
Black Velvet is part of her world's version of the mafia! She actually enters the story because one of my other oc's family stiffed her clan and she came to get her pay.
His parents abandoned him when he was young so he was taken in by another person - a mafioso. He saw the potential of the kid and raised him. But when the mafia he belonged to was beaten by another mafia, they spared him so that they could use his powers. He changed his master several times that way and every master called him by different names and saw him more as a tool, a weapon.
His current master is Cieran, who is a freelancer. That is someone, who does almost every job (with exceptions) for money.

He isn't actually like... a mafia member, but he is in charge of the information broker agency and he is often doing work with all sort of people, including members of different mafia. Although he does kind of have one spesific famiglia he is most in touch with, Desiree works with anyone as long as they can pay so he actually doesn't pick sides at all.
Desiree is actually part of the mafia group me and my friends did last year, I should get around uploading the rest of the members I personally made aaa....

This is my don, Freddy. He's tiny but don't let the size fool you, many other mafia families have made that mistake. He'll walk into a den of rivals and blast the place. He runs a tight ship and is respected by his "family".
He's rather cold and crazy and-- loud. But I love him to bit. Completely based off of a stuffed animal frog I have ffff.
dror gets involved in his own world's mafia.. i hope his story is relevant to the thread. he's a young entertainer and performer in inns and pubs who gains reputation. a mafioso grows fond of him and offers him the mafia's sponsorship and protection, and then he just gets more involved and sucked into the world of the mafia. dror becomes a known character there. he isn't involved in crime actively, his role is kind of like a pretty thing the guys like to have around (and a personal entertainer when needed ofc). plus the mafioso who took him under his wing kinda develops feelings for him (which dror doesn't return, however does use later). later dror finds out something that sparks his interest which the mafia is involved in, and tries to get it all to himself, betrays the mafia for his personal wants. it gets back at him big time eventually though when they find out what he's been up to, using information from the inside. (he took advantage of this one mafioso's fondness of him and got a lot of information out of him)
Jun is from a Yakuza family? But he's aiming to create his own "mafia/yakuza" empire... However, he's got more vengeful motivations.
