What Is The Above OC's D&D Character?

Dungeons & Dragons is probably a game that very few people need an introduction to. From famous live play podcasts, to various games cribbing from it's design, to it just being a general staple of pop-culture? Chances are if you have hear the words Paladin, Warlock, or Bard in a fantasy-context you probably have directly or indirectly interacted with something dealing with D&D. Heck, you might have played it yourself. Be it a quick one-shot in a night where no one knew exactly what they were doing to multi-year epics filled with amazing tales of victories, losses, and someone seducing a dragon, probably, or perhaps you simply have a character sheet or two on standby in the event you manage to get into a game. However, while you might have a character in mind for you to play? Have you ever pondered what type of character your OC would play? Or even what others might think your character would play if they managed to get their hands on a D20? Well, on that latter point you may finally find an answer? Will people say your character seems like the type to play a lawful good fighter who rushes into battle without a second thought? Maybe they think your character would play a happy go lucky tiefling cleric? Or perhaps they think your character might play a little bit out of the dice box and roll something like a kenku warlock, a tortle monk, or an aasimar druid? Or even what type of player are they? A rules lawyer, an avid follower of the rule of cool, or perhaps they may be behind the dungeon master's screen .Well, why not post them here and see what you get?

Before you post however? If you are still confused about how posts in this thread are supposed to look? I've made a handy guide below.

Character One-Posts-
Character TwoLooking them over, between their personality and values? I think character one would probably run as a neutral good elven cleric and they seem absolutely the type to be a rules lawyer and debate with the DM over every little thing
Character ThreeCharacter two strikes me as a lawful good paladin but they don't seem really the type to follow the rules super closely. They seem more like they just want to have fun when they play.
Character FourGiven how much Character four loves things dark and edgy? I can't see anything for them aside from a chaotic evil Drow warlock. Although their rolls are terrible. Constantly getting natural 1s.

Along with that are are also some basic rules or rather just three.

  1. Keep things PG and PG-13 at most. Yeah, a character can be a bard that seduces everything they meet but we don't need details after that.
  2. Try to wait three posts before going again. Although if no one posts for 24 hours and there is only one or two characters between you and your last post? Feel free to go again.
  3. Don't cause drama. If someone breaks the rules or is being a pain? Let me know and either me or the admins, if necessary, can deal with it.
Ravios Pine_Niidles

!! I love this idea, I'll start us off with Ravios!

(Also another cool thing that might be interested to add is what type of a dnd player the character would be. Would they be that one person who knows all the rulebooks inside and out and knows exactly how to break the game or just a casual player or whatnot. Just a suggestion though!)

Vardah Lasout Lonestarcelt

With Ravios I can see him playing as a chaotic good half-elf bard.

Jasey unused-account

I can see her as a neutral good human fighter!

Len Hadley Lemonburgers

Seems like Jasey might be a Chaotic Neutral/Good Elf Wizard!

Fir Pine_Niidles

I feel like Len would be a casual player, meeting up with friends once or twice a month for sessions. Since he likes plants I'm feeling druid, maybe a neutral good hill dwarf druid?

Archer Zhu Huang Lonestarcelt

For Athrei I can seem him experiment in wanting to be powerful and borderline unstoppable in game so I'm guessing a chaotic evil dragonborn fighter

Hehlel Cliodna

For Archie I see him playing as a high-wisdom character, maybe an elven wizard? Not necessarily evil - possibly true neutral? He'd want to be the party tactician and he's the one to pay close attention to what the game master is saying and take notes, put together these information tidbits into a coherent plan and point out any inconsistencies. (Hehlel should be an easy one Still might be interesting, I had a similar thought experiment with my game master years ago regarding her and I'm kinda interested in seeing what conclusions others would draw)

(AAAAnd the below commenter got it to a T XD

In addition I think she's got very little imagination so she'd either base the character on herself or, when called out on it, just turn to whoever's sitting to the left of them and make a character out of that person)

Alex Raneri Lonestarcelt

I would say Hehlel would play a lawful good human paladin. Probably be the type of player to be an incredible stickler for the rules.

 ' Fritz' Bluesulfur

A Chaotic Neutral half-Tiefling Spellsword with Astrology proficiency and high intelligence + Dexterity! ^^

 Rolling Flash Jim

Being a humanoid robot, I think Fritz would roll a lawful good human, maybe a mage or cleric?

iris pollen

shuala fairytype

an all-important being like camellia needs to play someone with the power to back it up, so it has to be a chaotic neutral tiefling warlock!
