Shen's an Arachnitaur, a race of hematophagic, half-humanoid half-arachnid creatures, and it wouldn't be too inaccurate to describe them as the love child of a centaur and a vampire. Most are forest-dwellers, although there are rare sub-species of Arachnitaurs with specialized traits for surviving in deserts and rainforests. To capture their prey—which can include passive herbivores such as deer, to large, dangerous creatures like moose, mountain lions, and bears—an Arachnitaur will construct a web trap with the silk produced from their spinnerette. Arachnitaur silk might look light and flimsy, but it's horrifically sticky, and when constructed right, can be as durable as a dense rope net. Arachnitaurs lie in wait for prey to come along and get caught in their web, and they will quickly end the animal's suffering by injecting venom through a bite. This "mercy kill" also prevents the prey from lashing out and killing the Arachnitaur. Then..... it's slorrmp time
While most Arachnitaurs have physical traits and behaviors similar to that of spiders, there are other sub-species that resemble half-humans, half-scorpions (Scorpio-Arachnitaurs) and even lice/ticks (Acari-Arachnitaurs). However, not much is known about these bizarre monsters.
.. anyway. Shen is a huge dork who tries to act cool and distant but he's very curious and it's OBVIOUS he wants to get to know others but he's so awkward. He doesn't say much, but when he does, he's got a wicked sense of humor and he also loves music!!! He constantly bumps into low-hanging things because he's so tall. :'o

The other taur in Naveem's pics is an oc of my friend's that is a fox/tiger hybrid taur and son of my Dipali.
Trevor and Gage are my centaurs who have profiles right now. :3 I love them both dearly and wish I was better at drawing horses so I'd quit avoiding drawing them so much. XD
