I have way too many Steven Universe OCs. I kinda stopped watching a while ago because I got absolutely sick of a certain character (*cough* lapis lazuli *cough), but there's no way I'm getting rid of them. I'm considering making them all high school age students at an all girl's school (Only as an excuse on why there are no male ones), but I don't think I should do it yet because at another community I'm at it's 100% SU related and I really don't want to abandon everyone else there.
Does anyone else ever get the desire to create fancharacters for fandoms you aren't really a fan of? If so, what fandoms are they?
For me it's MLP, Steven Universe, and Homestuck. I've tried, but I just could never really get into them. I think it's because those three works have fairly simple templates/guidelines or jumping off points for character creation.
