You Wake Up In The Above OC's Body! [IC Reaction]

Posted 7 years, 4 months ago (Edited 5 years, 7 months ago) by bulgariansumo

A game whre your OC reacts to suddenly having the above OC's body. Example

Chara A: *is a butterfly*

Chara B: *is originally a human, but now has Chara A's body* "Neat, I have wings! I'm going to fly away now!

Chara C: *is a wizard, but now has Chara B's original body* "What is this odd creature? And why can't they do magic??"

I will start off by sacrificing my son Leon.

Rule 1: I'm starting to see the same people replying back and forth, so please wait at least two posts after your own to post again. Have fun, everybody!

Rule 2: Each post has to be at least 3 completely filled lines of text, or the equivalent of that!

Rule 3: Don't be rude about the appearance of the previous character, even if your character is the vain sort.

Rule 4: This is a public thread, so keep it PG-13. Please keep sex/excessive violence/etc. down to a minimum. Rule of thumb, if the previous character does not have any mentions of that in their bio, don't inflict it upon them. If you must include that content, censor it like so.

You can reply regardless of rule 1 if it has been 24 hours since the last post.

"I... don't think I like this..."

Ankha looked herself up and down questioningly.

"I think I want my body back now please."

Nobutaka Deguichi PicklePantry

Taka groaned as he woke up, his head pounding as though he had drank way too much last night, and that was probably true. He reached to grab his aching head, or at least tried to. He didn't feel the touch he was expecting. In fact, he didn't feel his arm move. He groggily looked over, his eyes widening as he was greeted with nothing.
"Wh-What the f-ck?!" he screamed and backed away, stopping at the sound of hooves hitting the ground. He looked down, tensing as he saw not his legs, but a horse's body. He jumped back, the horse body doing the same at the exact time. He tried to run away from it, only to have it move with him. After a few minutes of blindly swearing and running into things, he stopped and examined the legs. He experimentally moved one up, biting his lip as he saw the horse body react to the mental command. This was... his body? He looked at his torso. No scars. No arm, either. What the hell was going on?!
Taka looked around nervously. He moved in one direction, willing his body to walk but not sure how to feel. It was awkward. He was like a newborn fawn. "I've gotta find someone that'll explain this sh-t," he mumbled under his breath, unaware of how humanity acted to a body like his.

 Kurosawa Ryou 遼 Sans-Ailes

"...?" While the act of waking from one's slumber was nothing out of the ordinary for the ordinary man, the same could not be said for Ryou. How long had it been since he had felt the exhaustion that comes with the day to day wear and tear of the flesh? Or perhaps, the better question was why was he feeling it? His body had already been put into the ground, leaving behind the shade of a restless spirit-- one chained to the earthly realm by emotions too heavy a burden to bear.

And yet, here he was, his mind slowly stirring as the vestiges of morning's light peered through the cracks of a window's blinds. The sensations that wracked the body were a lot more... conspicuous than he recalled. The beating of the heart, the rush of blood through out one's limbs... The young man even had a new appreciation for the almost indiscernible way his nerves tingled with the twitch of his fingers.

Was it a new chance at life?

Perhaps not. Upon opening his eyes, he realized this was not the body that once belonged to him. Scars ran across it's well muscled expanse-- ones more jagged, longer, wider, even, than any he recalled having in life. Yet, to be bothered by this fact wasn't even a notion that would come across his mind. "Fair enough," Ryou mused to himself softly. Scars or no, waking up in this body was a much more pleasant experience than waking up in his own. It would've been terribly inconvenient to wake up in a coffin, after all, and so this suited him just fine.

Not to mention, it'd be much more entertaining to be able to own the focus of the fear etched across Arata's face when he paid him a visit...

( Ryou no, Ryou pls....

Also my boy is a ghost!! Because of this, it may be trickier to get ideas for what it'd be like to wake up in his "body" so I figured I'll toss some prompts/ideas out, cause these seem fun (and tbh I would loooove to see and read them haha sobs)...

Maybe your OC will wake up in his actual body-- and have the traumatic experience of waking up in a coffin, buried alive? Or perhaps they'll just realize all of a sudden that they have no body and they're just floating around. A spirit, like Ryou is supposed to be.)

Miyadera opened her eyes.

"ASSHJSAJ-wait, why am I floating?"

"Wait a second..."

"COOL!"

(The next few hours were spent randomly pranking people, since you know, ghost magic.)

[BTW, Miyadera (this OC) is a dragon, she just hides her horns and tail (no wings), so if you included something about the OC in her body suddenly making them appear and flipping out, that would be hilarious XD And she's holding a crowbar, BTW.)

Jarro plush--bun

Jarro growled into the mirror. He could see that this was not himself. First of all, he had changed genders...and species. While before he had stood on four sturdy legs, now he stood on two meek ones. Jarro felt his head and groaned as he felt horns, he hated having things on his head, so this was a nightmare. Jarro, in a fit of rage, smashed the mirror and growled loudly. "What is this?" He asked nobody in particular. "Why am I some female WEAKLING?" His voice sounded so much smaller than before, and much less intimidating. This was truly a nightmare..it had to be.

 Mal Oakford BlankStorefront

This is definitely wild.
Mal wonders if this is just what death feels like. Or really, how he even died in the first place? Nothing is really adding up here.
He's quickly becoming less and less convinced by the death theory. As he finally gets some of his bearings, he realizes that this... is a bar. Others are around him, addressing him even! But he's in such a haze, he's barely hearing them.
Instead, he's trying to figure out... himself. He feels floaty, and is just now realizing he totally has four arms. That are also floating. Everything about him is floating. He could probably float in the air right now.
Then, he does. He's making some feeble attempts to find a hiding place as his haze is just turning to pure anxiety. Why is this even happening? What happened to him? On the one hand, he's very curious about this body, and what's going on around him. But he's also feeling just a bit too scared to really find out too much more.

Bran O'Corcrán/GhostKnight Databuffer

Sebastian was the one who startled himself awake from the void of sleep, through the sudden moment of clarity in which he realized something: he hadn't had to sleep in centuries. Why this scared him awake was beyond him, but he was awake nonetheless, and happy he had done so. He was on the ground- well, not quite, he was horizontal, and for once, was incapable of floating- he was being pulled downwards and- it was all sort of unnatural. The second he noticed was an odd burning in his chest, an unfamiliar tightness that ran from his core, all the way up his neck- neck...

Realization hit him all at once, and he shot bolt upright, and sucked in  the deepest breath he could muster, before finding himself panting- who knew one could grow inexperience with something as simple as breathing? That aside- everything inside- He was in a body! It wasn't his own, and he couldn't really recognize anything around him- but a body! It wasn't clad in armor, and it didn't feel anything like his old one but it was his now wasn't it? Were his prayers answered?

He propped himself up, after nearly toppling unto his side as he momentarily forgot about gravity. With a little effort he rose from that position, and stood haphazardly, with his legs locked beneath him, and a smile slowly, but surely spreading across his face, he considered what could be done with this second chance.

 Dollie Tintik

(Claim! Done! I felt like it could have been longer.. I might rewrite a bit of it soon ;;)

As Dollie woke up, she noticed that she felt.. Weird, to say the least. She felt detached, as if nothing were truly holding herself to the ground. As she turned her gaze downwards, she was shocked to find that it was true. She pushed herself backwards, as if she could shove away and find that this wasn't really 'her' own body, but the purple smoke followed, trailing slightly from where she had formerly been. She reached downward, shoving her now metal hand through the haze, and if she were capable, she knew her eyes would be tearing up by now.

"W-what?" She instantly brought her hands up to the helmet as she spoke, the voice sounding terrifyingly different than her own. She softly touched at her new body, pushing and pulling at places to see if she was even corporeal, before finally forcing herself to accept the fact that she wasn't herself. She stood, eyeing her surroundings carefully. She didn't understand what was happening, but she would. First thing's first, she needed to find something familiar.

 Belladonna boom-boxxy

Belladonna took a deep breath and smiled to herself as she regained consciousness. The girl sat up, rubbing her face with her wrist. She stretched as she tried levitating, but soon noticed she wasn't moving from the floor. As she opened her eyes she slowly took not that she didn't have to tuck away her long hair for clear vision, she could see just fine. She quickly noticed her body, though. She wasn't wearing her normal frilly dress, and she had... Legs? She certainly hasn't had those for a while. She had dark brown skin, a heavy contrast to her normal powder blue skin. Instead of her normal dress, the former ghost had an apron over relatively normal clothes reading "Kiss the Cook" with flowers around it. She giggled lightly at the sweet look of the garment, it was just perfect for her.

She was still sitting on the ground, so it was only normal to get up. After stumbling around for a moment, she took hold of a crate in the abandoned warehouse she called home. Belladonna lightly pressed her fingertips to her head, before wiggling them around since she didn't have any before. She looked over her shoulder and to the broken mirror on the other side of the dark warehouse. She stared into the green eyes looking back at her for a while, slowly showing a toothy smile. She started laughing louder and louder, eventually having to hold herself in place in order to not fall over.

Maybe this wasn't going to be too bad.
