SODAPUNKED hey hey listen can i just talk to you about mr. bear because shout out to that character  HE’S MY FAVORITE on the v-foxes webcomic atm and i’m about to tell you why

like first in terms of design, i really enjoyed the browns, whites, and blacks and his palette! they look so lovely to look at. his alt outfits are honestly very nice as well!! his design is one of the more “cozier” ones on the cast, and i think that’s adds a lot more interest to the group of colorful characters :]

now for the good stuff LIKE ONTO PERSONALITY + BIO- like first off it stood out to me how you’ve developed him beyond the boss trope?? i’ve seen so many characters who are “bosses” or “ceos”, but they are often just the cold, strict, all serious no-nonsense-go-to-work-now or evil. which i may have a personal distaste for those tropes because i’ve known a few of buisness owners+managers close irl and they’re so much more than that :’) seeing mr. bear very much melted heart, as he’s just pretty wholesome! of course he still cares about his buisness lol, but like he’s friendly and he clearly cares for others [like how he wanted to make sure dennis knew his workmates], he protected his childhood friend, and he’s a family man! guys this man saw himself riding a unicorn and declared it amazing, can y’all literally see why he’s so awesome now??? the best guy ever

also bonus HE’S APPARENTLY GALVESTONE’S CHILDHOOD FRIEND aka the otehr character i really liked, literally how can mr. bear be so cool- i especially love seeing characters and plantonic friendships so :O

v THIS MEANS LIKE???- I LITERALLY SMILED WHEN I SAW THIS Y’KNOW IT’S MEANS SO MUCH TO ME THAT SOMEONE ADORES MY CHARACTERS AS SUCH TYSM- but like your characters THEY ARE LITERALLY SO COOL AS WELL the cast for pms and ror are just really dynamic :O

AAAAA I WILL ALWAYS ADORE UR CHARACTERS DAZEY, AND CREEK IS NO DIFFERENT :DD

First, that pop up quote and tired expression really gives you a good idea on what his character is like right offf the bat! I think its great to get a general idea of what their demeanor is like and your description is just great at doing that! 

And his personality is just so interesting. Creek is like the usual "serious straight-man" but you added SO MUCH more depth to him. The fact that instead of being "The bitter boy that hates everything", deep inside, he just cares for everyone dearly, and is genuinely worried about others, but people who aren't close to him don't seem to understand that is so interesting, cute and sad at the same time. Like I genuinely wanna be his friend, hug him and comfort him, the lore tidbit at the end of the trivia like made me sad :(( Him being a plant dad is also super sweet! (Or should I say sour cause, THERE ONCE WAS A BITTERSWEET MAN THEY CALLED HIM LEMON BOY) Another thing I love is his friendship with Oliver in some of the art! Like they are besties for life and I adore that! His relationship with his sister too is also rlly cute!!

Also, his design is adorable!! The colour pallete you chose for him is great!! The lil hat aswell is super nice!!

first off, i really enjoy that they're based off of songs! i think thats neat as (and yes, im doing both of them <3)

firstly, stuff about ivan: i LOVE how much lore he has! it's always great to see someone so into their characters that they take the time to really write for them like they deserve. i also love all the little bits in his trivia, like how he chews on pens and shakes his friends when he gets overzealous

now for dr sunshine: as kinda creepy as this sounds, i really like that he dies in his story - i feel like you dont see that very often since people become so attached to their ocs, hell, even i've wrote out a couple deaths and angsty bits from my work bc i felt bad but you just STICK WITH IT and i really admire that. i also love how his death date is symbolic, i thought that was a very cool detail!

i also really enjoy the dynamic between the two, and how dr sunshine is a father figure towards ivan - it actually reminds me a bit of how i was back when i had a therapist, so it brought back some oddly nice memories

overall: absolutely fantastic writing! i loved getting to know these two <3

angiiePaniic i hope this doesn't make you uncomfortable or anything, but genuinely when i was looking at their icon i was like "zzZDAAAAAAAAAAMN!!!!!". and when i clicked on their profile i was like "DDAAAAAAAAYUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!" (in other words: wow! hot man)

moving onto his bio, the quote on the top is reassuring to hear in a way. i don't know how to put it

him being a murderer who still has a sweet personality despite that is just;; gwahhh??? my god, i'd let this man have tea with me in my home knowing he has taken the lives of many (sorry). such a lovely bear fr. ALSO HE PETS EVERY CAT AND DOG HE SEES????? AAHHHHH MY COG

overall, reading his trivia made me giddy, and he's a great character in general. love him for that 🫶

I really, really like Mark's design! I have seen him here and there on the forums and every time my eyes are drawn to the pleasingly warm brown colour palette, and the pleasantly fluffy looking hair. I also enjoy the way you use his glasses and their reflection to portray him, as I find it goes well along with his overall personality, and the way there is this distance between him and others. Not being able to see his eyes instantly distances the viewer from him in a way, and makes his design effective in reflecting his story and the kind of person he is.

The story behind how he got into robotics feels very authentic, and the "mundane" reason for it makes him feel like the kind of guy you could have known during your school years. The gradual worsening of his social skills is told in a quite realistic manner, and I find it super interesting how people not really commenting on it/giving him grief for it is brought out over and over again. It really makes you wonder how he could have turned out if people had intervened with his antisocial behavior early on, or if the people working on the field of his interest would directly explain him how his behavior is unwanted at the workplace. 

Reading his profile made me want to root for him in starting to make friends ;_; The fact he hates his own personality and that he would like to make friends made me sympathise with him, and I can't help but hope he'll get people in his life he's able to be vulnerable and honest with, and who'll understand his own, specific way of socializing.

This gonna come from a guy who ain't the most versed in your setting but is dumb enough to obsess about it quite a bit

First off, Ren is a perfect example of a painting. You love to look at it, you want to touch it, its hauntingly beautiful to the point you can't help but wish you were that painting. But the painting is Ivan the Terrible and his son Ivan. But you notice too late, you are to enamored in him to look away and care how horrible he is. He treats people like playthings and you wish to be upon his strings. 

It's a godamn ACHIEVEMENT that you were able to write someone like that so perfectly without it coming off as like- idk how to describe it other than cringy. Like- you understand why people fall to his charm. Not to mention the way he's horrible to people can slip by you if you just read his words. Like he will tell someone that they aren't worth the air they breath but when he says it...its like a charm?. But Ren is well deserving of all the attention he gets and you should be PROUD of how well you have done and will do writing him

grug seems like someone i would be friends with in real life. i love the idea of an ogre not solely being just a cruel brainless creature, even though he is still a killler. the design is wonderful as well, i've never seen skulls used so much as a design trait. the red and gold color scheme is also extremely beautiful. overall, 10/10 oc

Punk caught my eye! I like that he has his own handmade battle jacket (in fact, one of my ocs has one too!), it really has that spirit of punk in it. Moreover, I like how he’s an actual anarchist, as in he values and upholds actual anarchist ideals. It shows that you put effort and research into the character! I also liked the small detail of the ‘no gods, no masters’ quote.
