Merrow (Merry) – Tailor – She/They

A tailor who is devoted to fashioning outfits that perfectly bring out the personality and beauty of her customers. Her complete absorption with her craft and studying fabrics causes an emotional disconnection with her customers and she can be rather tactless at times, regardless of her intentions. When working, she tends to shut out all external distractions and go into a nigh robotic state of focus and precision. Doesn’t say much, causing some to think her cold, although she’s in reality warm-hearted and charitable. However, she will dissect your personality based on your fashion sense and clothing choice when you first meet (which can be rather unsettling, as she’ll zoom in on you wordlessly with an intense and analytical stare).

• Works and lives on her own in an open-air atelier; although many have asked about apprenticeships, all have been turned down – she’s independent almost to the state of aloofness and has no interest in committing herself into relationships with other people.
• Friends with Crispin, who often delivers materials to her. In return, she makes him outfits (she tried to use him as a mannequin once but he refused to stay still, so that incident involved a lot of misplaced pins that completely bypassed the actual clothing and the resultant pained screeching). Crispin calls her Merry.
• Her most prized possession is her maroon bandana. The accessory is present in each of her outfits, although sometimes she ties it and styles it in different ways. It was the first accessory she crafted herself and the exposed periwinkle stitching, although unintentional at the time, ended up becoming a trademark of her work. All clothing she creates either has the seam present, or her signature in periwinkle stitching.
