Jackie (Daejung) Choi

Overview   

Jackie is a struggling performer, a magician by day, and gamer by night.  He's a troublemaker who started his magic interest with pulling pranks and now performs for kids birthday parties during the day... even though he hates being around kids.  He plays an MMO obsessively in the evening and is one of the top mages in the game.

Backstory

Jackie grew up Korean-American, thus not having an accent, but able to speak fluent Korean from growing up with it at home.. He has an older sister, and his mother and father.  He's always been interested in video games, particularly MMOS.  Over the years he's gone through many different types of MMO's, usually playing a ranged magic user of some sorts.  He plays anything new that comes out, trying to get onto whatever Beta he can to get a head start to being the top before anybody else gets a chance to.  He lives for the feeling of being wanted on peoples teams for stuff like GVG and Dungeons, so he always has something to do since he's always asked to go places.  Because of this, he's a bit of a shut in, only leaving for his gigs and then back home again. A few friends from high school still hang around sometimes, but mostly it's all about Jackie's online guild. He's a bit of a shut in, spending a majority of his day in his messy bedroom mostly hating life.

His older sister is quite business oriented and has already gotten her career underway, which makes Jackie at odds with his family, who don't really understand his interest in always being on his computer, talking to people on his discord.  Jackie def resents his sister in one way or another. Most of the money he makes at his magic gigs are usually just used in the game too, to purchase better items/equipment, so that puzzles them too.

Jackie plays his teams small on his MMO's, trying to get as many drops as he can for himself without having to split them up with others.  Because of this, he and his best friend tend to be the only ones to take down bosses, although, without a healer, they usually die before they can take it down, but sometimes they get a lot of lucky crits and then they can get a shit ton of spoils.

When Jackie dies though I imagine he gets really angry and frustrated quite easily. To competitive for his own good. I'm sure him and other guilds have had drama before thanks to GVG or PVP events.

• He loves baths. He always takes them over showers, and then just showers off afterwards.
• Jackie's least favorite thing is jeans.  Just tight pants, in general, wow so uncomfortable! He needs to feel free.
• He's really protective over his hair. 
• Drinks before GVG or other big events in the game. 
• His rabbits are super special summons he got through special events over the years that he summons to buff him in game

Let's meet some friends, online or offline. I'd really love to do an online relationship where we can write em in the game doing game shit but yeah.  Anything to get Jackie outside of his regular bubble would be good.
