Maya is an elf, and the twin sister of Leina. When they were younger, she always felt overlooked and left behind, so she developed a competitive attitude that never went away. Though she's not quite a match for her sister in magic, she is a master of archery and quite skilled in other areas. When they were twelve, they were gifted to the King to help protect his son.
