Bran is a Genshin Impact fan character.
-Dendro vision, claymore user
-Very tall, around 6’ 5”/195cm. Muscular, with long black hair that has bright green streaks in it. Has two piercings in each ear, and multiple scars. The most visible scars are the two long scars on his face, and the slash on the left side of his chest. A long scar on the right-side of his face stars just over his ear and stretches down, passing under his right eye and going over his lips to end just under his bottom lip. A scar cuts through his eye brow on the left side of his face and ends just next to his right eye. He also has a lot of burn scars across his hands that reach up to the middle of his upper arms.
-The burn scars are because even though he carries around a claymore, he doesn’t use it much. Instead he uses his Vision to create vine-gauntlets that he punches things with. Rumors about a guy fist-fighting hilichurls? Yes, probably him. Sometimes it means be punches things he probably shouldn’t while wielding Dendro
-He’s also a grandpa. A great-grandpa actually, because he’s around 1000 years old.
-He’ll actually tell you that it’s ‘around 1000 or so’ when he feels like saying his real age, but then admits he’s lost track of the passage of time a lot, and sometimes years go by without him noticing. He mostly bases his estimate on major historical events and when people say they happened.
-He has no idea why he’s still alive. One day he just noticed that his family was aging, but he wasn’t. As near as he’s been able to figure out, it has something to do with one of the original Seven Archons, but which one it was and why they bothered trying to give him even this little bit of an Ascension is lost on him.
-Currently he’s traveling around trying to figure out what happened to him, and hopefully find someone who can return him to normal. He just wants to be fully human - and mortal - again. He’s seen so many members of his family pass on before, and seen so many changes, that he’s just tired.
-The tragedy is that Bran has always seen himself as being human, even though there would be those that would argue he’s far more than that now. There was no grand moment where he was ascended. One day he was just outliving everyone round him and he hates. Aside from his longevity, he hasn’t really noticed any other changes to him physically. Some of the people who've been on the wrong end of his fists or sword would argue that he’s stronger than normal, though Bran himself just claims it’s experience and training.
Still, he does seem to be extraordinarily tough for a regular guy, no matter what he says.
-Bran is a social guy, and can’t ever seem to completely leave human society behind. He’ll try to stay away, telling himself it would be better that way, but he’s just not built to be a hermit. After a while he’ll always find himself drawn back into society. Sometimes very deeply into it. He has family lines in basically all of the Seven nations because he keeps getting attached. Bran has outlived several long term partners by this point. He did love all of them and remembers them fondly, even if his longevity has caused friction in his families before.
- He treats anyone of his descendents like his grandchildren, no matter how distant their actual relation is.
-No one ever guesses that Bran has lived as long as he has, or that he has any sort of Archon blessing at all. He’s very laid back, and jovial. He always has a ready laugh, and doesn’t seem to take offense to anything. Really, he’s just seen so much that very little actually bothers him anymore.
-Hangs around taverns/Adventures guild’s a lot when he’s actually in a town
-Protective of children and small animals.
-Goes off on stories about ruins or just random things that he sees if he’s traveling with someone. Knows a lot through experience and is much smarter than he comes off, even as he claims that he’s not good with book learning.
-Only uses his sword when he’s either very angry or things have gotten very serious. Otherwise he’ll push punch things.
-Sort of a boogey-man for treasure hoarder since he keeps turning up around the ruins they’re exploring, and he once lost it on a group he caught looting the ruins of one of his old houses.
