Ike's Links
Ike loves his older brother, and enjoys to spend time with him whenever possible. He doesn't see why Aaric doesn't like their father, but decides not to let that get between their relationship. Ike tries to veer any and all topics about talking bad about Damien away from Aaric. He'd rather spend the time with his brother in joy and without conflict.
Aaric's world revolves around Ike and caring for him. With such a useless father, Aaric has become more of a father to Ike than Damien himself. Not that Aaric minds - he'd rather Ike get Aaric's influence than their father's. Aaric is constantly concerned for Ike, and is ready to protect him or stand up for him whenever need be. He just hopes that Ike will soon learn to fend for himself.
Apollo is Ike's best friend. Ike doesn't do anything without Apollo, and he enjoys the company of the other baby dire. He doesn't seem to notice how... strange Apollo acts around him. That or he does and he ignores it. He's always ready to enjoy a game with Apollo and open the door up for him. Ike wants nothing more than their friendship to thrive at the moment. Although who knows, it may change in the near future?
When Apollo has feelings, he has a hard time hiding them. For example, his love for Ike. Although the two are great friends, Apollo has a huge crush on Ike, and tends to stumble over his own words whenever he talks to Ike. Despite this, he's afraid to tell Ike, for fear of losing their friendship. Because of this, he keeps his little secret a secret, receiving advice from Damien every step of the way about Ike and getting him to like Apollo.
Despite how bad of a father Damien is, Ike looks up to Damien and loves him a lot. He follows his father almost everywhere when he has the chance, and wants nothing more than to create a father-son bond with Damien. That doesn't mean it's going to be easy, but Ike is determined to be Damien's best friend.
Damien... is not the best father. He doesn't seem to do the right things when taking care of Ike and helping him grow up. He's never had to worry about a baby cinidae around, let alone his own child. Because of this, he tends to ignore the more important things about fathering, and has a hard time finding himself spending time with Ike. Despite this, he does love his son, he's just... not good at the whole father thing.
Ike enjoys when Seth visits, but he doesn't like when Seth talks bad about his father. In fact, Ike has fought with Seth many times about Damien and the way he acts. It puts a sour taste in Ike's mouth to fight, but he can't help it when Seth is talks so ill about the one direcinidae that Ike looks up to.
Seth feels very sorry for poor Ike. Not only does he have to live with Damien, but he's also Damien's son... the poor child. Seth is always ready to take in Ike if he gets annoyed or starts to hate his own father, although Seth knows it'll never happen. He doesn't see what Ike sees in Damien, but Seth will always have open paws for the kiddo.
Ike is always ready to make his aunt happy. He notices that Leilah doesn't smile very often, nor does she seem to talk much, and Ike wants to change that. He feels that she would be so much prettier than she already is if she opened up. Because of this, he's always on his feet and the first to greet her when she comes to visit.
Leilah enjoys seeing Ike and his happy personality. He always lightens up her usually-depressed mood, and sometimes a small smile will appear on her face. All because of a little pup that is her nephew. Leilah feels that Ike makes everything better, and he's like a precious flower that needs to be protected from the harsh world that Leilah knows all too well.
