The Killer Rabbit. TV Tropes describes this rabbit as "monster that's far more dangerous than it looks." This rabbit could "be strong despite its size", has "flesh-rending pointy bits that aren't readily apparent" or "can just turn into something far more dangerous". "In many cases, the creature can be completely harmless unless you actually mess with it, whether intentionally or not. Lewis is an example of this rabbit. Lewis is a Bestia Lopunny that spent most of his life traveling the world. What is a Bestia you ask? Bestia are Pokémon that are said to be directly descended from mega evolved and G-Max Pokémon. For Lewis, he sees being a Bestia as being a curse and a gift. While he enjoys being stronger than the average Pokémon, he struggles with being immortal and assuming a feral forme when exposed to the moon. Despite how much of a pain this can be, Lewis learned how to deal with it.

Lewis spent years traveling the world as a means to understand more about what the world has to offer to him. He gained a few friends here and there. He watched the world changed before him. It was honestly a boring experience. However, in the coming years, Lewis settled down in the city of Neoma and received a job as a part-time host at a Host Club. It was a nice job that allows him to enjoy speaking with others about the oddity of the world. Eventually, he would move on to join the Union as a recommendation from a friend. The Union did help give him jobs to satisfy his strong craving for battles.

It wasn't until recently that Lewis' life change for the stranger when he met Ronin. Unknown to them, the two were a bounded pair known as 'The Baile'. Bounded Pairs were two (or more) fated individuals that were supposedly meant to be together for eternity as the 'Gods' have chosen it. Those bounded are considered bless in the eyes of the mortals who worshiped them. However, very few actually realize they are bounded pair as there are very few that exist in the world. Now only that but information about bounded pairs is quite scarce so it was hard to know what benefits (and hindrances) it has to offer.

It doesn't help that Ronin and Lewis are stubborn when it comes to accepting the fact they are bounded.

Lewis was born in Village of Veritas within Mount Rem. Mount Rem is the mountain that is said to be the resting place of the Boundary Pokémon: The Completed One. No one knows the actual species name of the God. In fact, not much is known about the Pokémon besides some rumors. A well-known rumor for those that live in Mount Rem is that this Pokémon is said to have been divided into three dragons as a result of battle it had with the Orderly One: Zygarde. These dragons are said to represent the Yin, Yang and Wuji, and each are worshiped in the larger three villages that rest in the mountain. Reshiram is the dragon of truth and represents the yang. Those who live in the Village of Veritas are said to worship her. Zekrom is the dragon of ideals and represents the yin. Those who live in the Village of Ideālis are said to worship him. Kyurem is the dragon of void and represents the wuji. Those who live in the Village of Inanis are said to worship them. Kyurem is said to have the ability to fuse with both Reshiram and Zekrom. However, Reshiram and Zekrom refuse to fuse with Kyurem at the same time as they wished to embrace their freedom. They did agree to fuse with Kyurem in a situation that would be far too big for all three dragons to handle by themselves.

Lewis is the son of Alexander (father) and Serena (mother) that hatched during the winter months. Serena was the primary caretaker of Lewis as Alexander died before Lewis hatched. Due to this, Lewis never had a chance to get to know his father. However, Lewis did respect the man as he did protect his egg against a feral Ice Pokemon even if it cost him his life. Going back to Lewis, at first glance, Lewis was no different than the Buneary that lived in the village. With white and black fur, the only thing that separated the male from species was his bright blue eyes. Over the course of months, it soon became apparent that the male had access to an ability that his evolutionary mega counterpart (Lopunny) would have: Scrappy. It was then pieced together than Lewis was Bestia.

What is a Bestia? Bestia are Pokémon that directly descended from Pokémon that are said to mega evolve without mega stones (or in some cases gigantamax without the need for Power Spots). These Pokémon are said to carry traits of mega (or G-Max) Pokémon such as their personality, looks and even their abilities. For Bestia, they thought themselves as being partial evolution of Pokémon into their next stage of evolution. However, for non-Bestias, Bestia were considered to be Pokémon that acted as a middle ground of feral Pokémon and civilized Pokémon. This is due to the fact feral Bestia are said to possess a feral forme. This feral forme is akin to something along the lines of a werewolf form when they transformed under the full moon. This forme seems to take more of the influence of Bestia’s counterpart, only they are primal in nature. It is for this reason alone that Bestia are feared.

However, Lewis was lucky enough not to deal with such a thing as half of the population in his village were Bestia. The villagers of Veritas were very accepting of the Bestia kind. Because of that, Lewis was lucky not to deal with the prejudice that Bestia tend to face and lived a relatively decent life. Well more like a boring one in Lewis’ life. Even with his mother’s shenanigans, Lewis described his child life and a large portion of his teenage years to be very boring. Perhaps it had something to do with the fact there wasn’t really much to do in Veritas. In Veritas, you train, hunt, gather and do what was typical in a village. While his mother most likely didn’t mind this, Lewis didn’t want to spend the rest of his life living in a dull place. There was only such more boredom the male could take.

Well unless you count his then boyfriend, Apollo. Apollo was a Bestia Combusken that Lewis eventually broke up with some years ago after being with him as they didn't feel that work together as a couple. However, they respected each other enough to maintain a friendship. Apollo was a nice guy in Lewis eyes that Lewis ended up becoming friends with after their breakup. Well actually a nice guy with questionable morals but Lewis seemed to ignore that part. Apollo was also an important figure in Lewis’ life as the male gave Lewis the happiness needed to evolve into a Lopunny.

The evolution itself occurred during Lewis’ teenage years. Lewis’ teenage years were troubling years as he felt disgusted in the fact he was a Bestia. It was not surprising that one day Lewis got into an argument with his mother over what he was. The argument wasn’t pretty and ended with Lewis hurting his mother with claims that she didn’t understand and care about him. You know the ‘typical teenage crap’. Lewis realized what he did and ended up running off to Apollo to break down over what he did, assuming that he was even more of a monster. Apollo was there to reassure the male that he wasn’t a monster and was simply acting out. He also reassured the male that he was an angel that he knew that his mother would love him even after what he said. Something in what Apollo said triggered a warm feeling in Lewis’ chest. This feeling spread throughout his body before triggering a transformation in the male that resulted in evolving into his final form: Lopunny. Now fully evolved, Lewis apologized to his mother and made a promise to her that he would never allow his emotions to get a better of him.

Since then, things have gone back to being normal. Well this is until that Lewis decided that it was time to leave Veritas once the male was considered an adult by his mother. Unfortunately, Lewis was tired of staring at the white blankets of snow and interacting with the same ol’ people he saw in the many years he been in this town. The male craved to see the world outside of the village he lived in and was curious to understand what it is he was missing. So with a bag filled with some of his possessions and the optimism in his heart, the male left to explore this new world.

However, the male soon came to realize the world wasn’t as pretty as he would hope. The male was not shielded from prejudice that Bestia faced and the male realized that the world was a dog-eat-dog world. In order for the male to survive in the world, the male has to claw his way to the top by using others as a stepping stone to get to the top. Well maybe not to the top but at least to the point where he can live an easy life. With that in mind, Lewis proceeded to do that, using his charm to squeeze himself into the hearts of others.

It has been years since he left his village and Lewis has been living in the city of Neoma. Taking a few odd jobs, Lewis would end up becoming a full time member of the Union. Life for Lewis was certainly decent from the male. To think, all of that change when he met Ronin.
