About
Hideyoshi Amano is a stick in the mud and can come off very cold. He stays in line and carries out orders as they are given without making a fuss about it. He's quiet and prefers to blend into the crowd, but internally, he's a very passionate man a ticking time bomb.
Amano remembers his parents very well, since he lost them very young and tragically. He lived with the homeless, running from anyone that would try to send him to an orphanage, scared of what life would be like there. He didn't have much of a choice when a massive man picked him up and took him home. He's forever been grateful for him.
Amano didn't join the Takara family until after he met Ryuji Nishimura, as his adoptive father didn't want him to. There was nothing he could do to change Amano's mind and caved. To Amano, it's the one way he can repay his adoptive father, by devoting his life to him.

Personality
Amano is a smart man whos always looking up. He's outwardly cold and cruel, but it's truly a front to protect himself. Internally, he's still a scared child in a big, dark world. He can be rather explosive as he lets his emotions sit and fester instead of letting them out in a normal way.
Despite his faults, he's loved by his subordinates and family. He can be forgiving toward them, even if he hates when it's commented on, but he has a soft spot for who he considers family. He would do anything for those he holds closest to his heart, even if it meant betrayal or something more sinister.

Appearance
Amano is 5’10” with a thin build and hard muscles, generally being more chiseled. His hair is black and grown into a mullet, but he pushes the front of his hair up and slicks it back. His hair goes down further down his face and back when he hasn't added product to it. His clothes are much more reserved while still dawning something more expected of someone in the yakuza.
His ear is only pierced in his left and are the same silver as his glasses. He also wears a silver ring on his left pointer, but he keeps his chain gold. He doesn't let his facial hair get any longer or shorter, keeping it at a light goatee. He also constantly wears a prosthetic for his right arm. Amano asked for it to be flesh colored, but often he wears a black glove over it to make it appear more natural.

Backstory
Amano has lived in Kamurocho his entire life. He was born into a very poor family that was doing whatever they could to stay afloat, no matter what it was. Amano ended up in an accident that lead to his arm being amputated very young and his family turned to loan sharks to pay it off the medical expenses, but they couldn't pay off the loan sharks. He witnessed the loss of his family very young.
He ran from just about anyone that tried to approach him. It was like dealing with a stray cat, but he ended up living with the homeless of Kamurocho for a few years. Rumor had been floating around about him and it was enough for a huge man to suddenly pick him up right off the streets. He was terrified of him, but it ended up being what he needed. The man adopted him, put him into school, and even helped him catch up on the schooling he had missed.
Once it was just the two of them living together, he begged to let his father let him into the family. He saw it as his only way to repay him. Amano was denied many times for many years, until he had practically forgotten about it. It changed when he met Ryuji in the streets. He was loud, annoying, and had a terrible fashion sense. He was begging for an ass kicking, and that's what he got day after day, but it grew into a friendship. They both went to Takara and were sworn into the family.
Present Day
Amano gets a lot of the dirty work in the family now. He cleans up well and doesn't think twice, leading him to becoming the lieutenant, even if part of it is just favoring him. He still indulges in a lot of his old hobbies when at home, even if he tries to hide it from his roommates. Most of his day is spent talking to other clan members and carrying out orders from higher up.
