SHIT BRICK HOUSE
Built like a truck. Born and raised in the harsh wilds of arctic tundras and boreal forests, he's a skilled warrior and survivalist.
SHIELD PROFICIENCY
Shield daddy. Prioritizes shield over sword while fighting, placing a heavy focus on protection and disarming rather than offensive damage.
PUZZLE DAD
Is constantly observing and trying to solve puzzles, whether it's piecing together a case or filing away details and tics about a person. He likes to understand people and the decisions they make.
DAD DAD
The stereotype of overly and aggressively nurturing northern penguin sweeper is not missing from this big bird. Mother henning comes pre-installed.
DECENT COOK
You get food item. Make food item hot. Eat the food item. It's not that hard Virgil. You do not need a recipe for everything please relax.
About
Amir is a good boy. He's just a very good boy who tries his absolute best. He's just so tired.
So very tired.
He uses sword and shield and carries a hunting dagger strapped to the back of his tail almost at all times. He belongs to the order of the paladins of hyth, a religious sect separate from his job as a guard, but essentially championing the same duties as the guard but from an ideological perspective and not paid for by the city. He's devoutly religious and follows Hylcinth as a test to his own shortcomings, since he identifies much stronger with the teachings of the old testament judgements of Helgin, but sworn as a watchmen must learn patience and forgiveness.
Backstory
Born to Arctic Starsweeper parents in the northern continent of Gelidis. He gets his sense of humor from his dad and his resting bitch face from his mom. He grew up the youngest of three siblings. He was the baby. Baby bird.
Growing up in the boreal forests of the arctic circle hardened him as a survivalist, navigator, and overall strong boi. He was a teenager for the duration of the gravewastes war and moved at age 17 to Taipa to help efforts just as the Sterling forces were pulling out of Canés and retreating to Blackwatch. For the first time in 5 years it was ceasefire but when you're young and dumb and unsatisfied with the lack of justice you may or may not spend some time as a mercenary viking going through the arctic shorelines and islands exterminating residual Starshooter forces to fully reclaim your land and make it really hurt for the enemy like y'know just girly things.
Amir doesn't talk about this time in his life. He'd rather put those deeds behind him. The lingering hatred hasn't gone away though.
Nowadays he's carrying out justice according to due process of the law among the ranks of the Guard of Ivoryhelm. He's made captain of the 9th district and holds the title with an exhausted exasperation for petty crime around the city in a fairly mundane beat cop role.
Relationships/Family
Amir is extremely stand-offish, which doesn't seem to stop any and everyone in his life from pestering him, which is how he gets 100% of his social interaction. He's just the type of guy to go home immediately after work and be in bed by 8pm. He's less of a broody asshole and more of a total fuckin square.
