Jinx is the young daughter of a famous scientist. After losing her mom during early childhood, her father, always away because of work, created Roc (full name Recon Operative Component No. 0153-S300) to serve as her guardian and caretaker. The AI, originally based in appearance off of military androids, has the personality of & mostly learned from the girl's father. Jinx herself, aside from having a love of cooking and engineering, is somewhat reserved and tends to keep to herself, though does get along with her peers and has a few close friends (namely Ellie and Claudia). Her asocial demeanor likely reflects her guardian's, who she is closer to than anyone else, an unintended consequence of leaving her in the AI's care. The dynamic is somewhat unusual, but in a fast-paced world where technology advances at a breakneck pace, society quickly adjusts.
