A somewhat solemn and stolid grem. Can tend to be a bit serious, but is always very kind at heart. Loves helping out others in need and is very caring towards any wayward souls who come across her little cottage home in search of a place to stay. Despite her tough demeanor she always loves meeting new people. Speaks with a little bit of a southern drawl.

A beloved creation. Cared for endlessly by her human companion. Mallow was originally created to represent a sort of "muse," filled with wonder and a sense for adventure. However, being instilled with such notions instead caused her to be emotionally distant. Head always in the clouds, never really living 100% in the present moment. Preferring instead to spend a majority of her time daydreaming rather than connecting to the people around her, and by extension.. her own human companion. Despite this, he continued providing for her. Caring for and loving her unconditionally.

One day a cypherous came into their home, and in an accidental fit of dissociative rage, lashed out at both Mallow and her companion. Mallow's left eye was permanently scarred in the process but her human, shielding her from the attack, took the brunt of the blow and as such, suffered mortal injuries. Finally, grounded and terrified, Mallow called out to him. They cypher fled, terrified of their own awful power, but her human, afflicted by the cyphers curse, lived for only a few days past that, and in that time Mallow cared for him. Finally opening up and revealing her true nature.

Despite the fact that he knew he was dying, the human smiled. Happy to see his friend coming out of her shell for once. Finally able to truly connect with her. On the last day they were together, he took her hand in his and began to cry. When asked what was wrong, he simply replied, "It is so saddening to me, that the rest of the world might not get to know you the way that I do."


She promised him otherwise.
