Best friends at first sight. When he was younger, Jan thought of Martin as the brother he never had. Over time that feeling developed into a more romantic attraction. Jan is fairly reserved about his personal life and outwardly annoyed by Martin's open affections-- but privately glad for them.
Best friends at first sight. Martin's family took Jan in after his parents died, and what started as a silly crush turned into something more. Martin was delighted to find his feelings returned. He takes every opportunity to annoy Jan with surprise hugs and often uses him as a pillow for naps.
At first, Jan thought Anise was a cold and unfriendly person. However, he soon realized she is friendly in her own way. Over the years he's grown quite fond of her and counts her as one of his close friends. He values her understanding of when he just wants silent company.
Anise's family took Jan in after his parents died. When she was younger, she saw him as another annoying brother. Over time she's come to appreciate his friendship, and often asks for his insight on matters involving emotions and interpersonal relations.
