Anise

Anise runs a small farm near the coast-- which also provides a safe refuge to any who need it.

character notes:

Anise grew up on her parents' farm and helped manage it from a young age.
She enjoys the responsibility and organization which goes into running things smoothly.
She expects those around her to work hard, and definitely practices what she preaches.
By choice, she rarely has "spare time" or "time off".

Anise doesn't see much point in sentimentality or emotional displays.
However, she is outgoing, and expresses her affection by taking care of others.
With strangers she is polite, but brisk and businesslike; she avoids much small talk.
She has no problem confronting others about a differing opinion or conflict of interests.

When not working outside, Anise can often be found indoors making a variety of baked goods.

design notes:

She's fairly tall for a girl, and has impeccable posture which makes her seem even taller.
She has a "rectangle" shaped body, with average bust/hips, and is in excellent shape.
Her hair is slightly curly, and in humid weather is prone to frizzing. She keeps it tied up in braids.
Generally goes without accessories, but may wear a simple pendant necklace.
She has no preference between pants and skirts, and wears either equally.
If wearing a skirt, she may tie it or put it through a belt (example) to keep it out of the way.
