Mei is quite unconfident and shy. He worries and apologizes constantly, and can be quite awkward. As such, he struggles on saying his opinion, keeping to himself to insure that he keeps out of as much trouble. Because of this, he doesn’t develop friendships easily, as he is quite cautious of others he comes in contact with. He can be quite emotional, celebrating both good and bad moments with tears.

Even though Mei is quiet, he enjoys the company of others, although he isn’t as active in contributing to a conversation. He’s quite observant, and will notice when others are having a hard time, being a sympathetic soul for those who need to talk. His real talents come with his work and studies, as he is a very efficient and intelligent individual. He learns swiftly, retains a lot of information, yet is extremely humble, although he is haunted by his overthinking, finding himself overwhelmed frequently.
