Profile

This is where reference sheets are stored.

Please when consulting them, use the first image in this folder! That is the current up to date main reference sheet. Outdated reference sheets are stored below for archive purposes.

Design notes

  • Bienie is a domestic cat, and is sized as such
  • Symmetrical design marking-wise, only the colours are different
  • Set amount and order of stripes, they are not random
  • Forehead tuft is part of character design, if your style allows for it, I'd prefer to have it included
  • Yellow neckerchief is main accessory and is preferred. They can wear other accessories, for example, what about a snazzy hat
  • Pay attention to leg markings; the white on the belly and white on the feet do not connect (legs are fully coloured up to the feet). On the inside hind leg, one stripe is visible above the ankle
  • On the arms/front legs, the coloured marking reaches the elbow and is visible on the inside
  • Alternative tail design: white poof (either tail is acceptable!)
  • White whiskers and white claws
  • In anthro, needs to be drawn flat chested. For clothing examples, see anthro sections on previous reference sheets. When drawing anthro, clothing is highly preferred (sweaters, hoodies, shirts, jeans, sweatpants, etc.)
  • Androgynous looks. No feminine eyelashes, doesn't wear make-up
  • Do not draw NSFW of them, unless you have my explicit permission
Alt species

Bien has been drawn as a few animals throughout the years. Some of them are a one-time thing for fun, others come back periodically. The images here may serve as visual reference for how to draw these design variations! (Refer to the cat reference sheet for colours, all designs are symmetrical, same accessories as main ref).

  • Rabbit: white rimmed ear tips, white tail
  • Serval: Stripes are rows of spots (add rows as you see fit). Extra spots on face, ear markings.
