Aasif is a competitive dancer who desires prestige-- wanting even more than the coin he brings in by the pound nightly!
He is highly aware that he's blessed with a soft body that he can control in such a dazzling manner, but even still he does not like for his work to be talked down or brushed off. He has seen the path that other dancers have been led into, and refuses to become 'as pitiful' as others before him.
Because of his stubborn, mighty attitude, he has carved another 'needed' place for himself, using his dancing as bard-like type support work with sell-swords.
Many are fooled by his looks, expecting to have to take care of Aasif during arduous journeys, but he always does his best to hold his own (however, there have been some frightening scrapes, not that Aasif would admit as much)...
Though he doesn't give out this information freely, he was actually sickly and frail throughout his youth, close to orphan-status with how little he saw his mother. The town healer mended him quite well and after he ditched his hometown for a more bustling city, he couldn't get enough of sneaking into dance classes.
His formal teachings are barely interlaced with the sensual work he does now, only relying on various techniques that any dancer can use to have better control over their stamina. With his tough demeanor (physically and mentally), Aasif could truly be called a rogue... But he thinks he's too dignified for such a title.
