Early Life

Raz'na was born to a mismatched set of parents, a wardruid named Aiz'mu and her husband, a farmer named Pel'ze, thirteen years after the opening of the Dark Portal, in the small village of Zeb'tala on the outskirts of Zul'aman. There, she has a relatively quiet, secluded childhood, and is loved and supported unconditionally by her parents. Until the Third War, at least, when Aiz'mu joined the Amani forces defending against the newly-christened blood elves, and ultimately died to them. That was what led Raz'na down the path to becoming a druid. She didn't understand the war, but wanted to be like her mother, who her father said died as a hero.

Pel'ze did a fine job raising her alone. He instilled a strong desire in her to be someone he would be proud of, and taught her to have strong morals. As Zul'jin's actions drew the ire of Horde and Alliance alike, however, the family lost their farm in the conflict and Pel'ze was injured badly enough that rebuilding didn't seem a reasonable option. This was the catalyst to her decision to become a guardian druid. She hated feeling helpless and wanted to be able to protect others.

Education

To facilitate her decision, her father sent her to live within Zul'aman with a druid he knew, to study under him. Raz'na struggled with her new environment, having a hard time relating to others.
