Has a penchant for a bit of murder and chaos. A real piece of fucking work. Doesn't like people who won't listen to what he says (and authority).
He's a total bstard who has no problems manipulating people or forcing them to bend to his will. He lies, cheats, and will kick you. It doesn't seem like he really cares about anyone but himself, though he does have a soft spot for Quincy. Tragically he still has no sense of boundaries, so he is just going to try to force him into a relationship instead.
History
He's been dealing drugs for a hot minute and doesn't really plan on stopping anytime soon. August has a good system and many followers doing his bidding. He did not go to jail for the drugs, but first degree murder, so he's back to his old ways (though a bit more careful). He also works as a cashier at a local adult toy shop, pressuring customers into buying things they definitely don't need.
He used to be active in the BDSM scene back in the 70s and 80s, which was how he met Quincy. They met at a private party and hit it off well, though things quickly went downhill from there. He kept him on a tight leash, completely obsessed with Quincy's looks and also his money.
August got caught for murder by being an idiot, and dragging an overdosing Quincy along his escapade. He was arrested when he brought Quincy to the hospital, which he only did out of pity, anyway, because someone saw him shoot a bitch. He went to jail for 25 years and definitely did not get out early on good behavior.
His apartment was condemned while he was in jail, so he was kinda SOL for a while, but he met up with an old friend and now bunks with him, much to his chagrin. Meaning, he took this poor sap's bedroom and basically lives there rent free and makes him sleep on the couch.

Appearance
He dyes his hair red, leaving his eyebrows black. It's often styled back so it's out of his face, and shaved at the back of his neck. When it's not styled up, it flops a bit over the right side of his face. He has bright blue eyes (like Paul Hollywood. He stares into your soul) and pale skin. And a mean face. He's only 5'4, which comes as a surprise to many people when he meets them for the first time. He's still plenty strong and works out, having a decent amount of muscle. He can and will beat you to death.
His fashion ranges from casual to punk-ish. He prefers dark colors and clothing that will last, so sturdy materials. Yeah, sure, he's worn the same jeans for the last 20 years, but it's fine!
He has four piercings in his left ear (lobe, upper lobe x2, industrial), and three in his right (no industrial). He also has a split tongue and tongue piercing because he hates himself.

roommateJust fucking hates his guts so much. Knows Novak is in love with him and actively ignores it, though he does take advantage of his feelings quite frequently. Thinks Nov is only good for entertaining him. His apartment is nice, though. They've known each other for a surprisingly long time. August wishes they never met.
