Selene

Selene's mother was an escapee from a cult she was born into. In the cult, it was custom to give up your first born daughter for sacrifice to appease the god of Mischeif, Nicodaemus. When her mother refused, she fled from the convine and took shelter into the woods where she gave birth to Selene. Unable to take care of her, she left her daughter on the steps of a shrine, and fed to cover her tracks in case the other cult members were after them. The elder shrine Priestess of the time found her the next morning and took her in as her own, naming her Selene, after the goddess the shrine worships. Selene then was raised by the elderly preistess as her grandaughter to eventually inherite the shrine one day. Selene's childhood was secluded and she grew up to become timid and wary of the outside world beyond the forest. Even after meeting Nebula, she prefers to stay taking care of the shrine and gardening then risk navigating the streets of a college town.

She met Nebula Jackson after venturing out into her gardenn to find him passed out from dehydration next to her Hydrangas. She dragged him (the best she could) to her temple where she nursed him back to health with herbal, natural, remedies. Her first impression of him was a little irritation because he was a flirtatious boy at the time and being a pretty maiden had its downfalls. Selene made sure to put him in his place, but even after he left the temple, he kept coming back to visit! After a while the two fell for each other, and decided to marry and start a family. Their main home remains the shrine, Nebula leaving every week to look over the club he owns. They have two daughters and shes never been happier in her life as a shrine Maiden mother and wife of a millionare.
