Trying to provoke Rei is crowned with very little success - she tends to stay calm most of the times, especially because she knows that it would annoy the people around her. In general she usually would not make a fuss out of anything, staying level-headed in every situation is one of her biggest strength while also bantering around. To no surprise she can be very humorous and sarcastic as well, her playful nature allows her to easily grab every opportunity to pick on others even if she does not mean to be harmful.

Someone should not mistaken her and her huge confidence with any kind of extraversion though. In fact she prefers to be in a small group or even by herself and feels rather exhausted after being with a party for a longer period. If she has the choice she would probably stay at home most of the time, reading a book or listening to music even though she does enjoy some company by time to time.

Music is somewhat a passion of her and she enjoys playing instruments even though you would call her skills rather mediocre than anything else. This stems from the fact that she is a big victim of her own laziness that is often stronger than anything else and causes her to loaf around. Therefore her grades are not anywhere near to be perfect as well even though you could consider her being pretty smart. Putting a lot of effort in something just seems like a big hassle to her.

Rei's feelings can be described as pretty shallow and private but if she actually gets attached to someone she can feel a deep appreciation and love towards them even if she can not really describe the emotions themselves. Either way she is still trying as much as she can to understand people's emotions around her even though she tends to stay away from dramatic situations.

Being honest is another trait of hers. While trying to not be all too insensitive Rei usually expresses her opinions and thoughts if she feel like it is needed without beating around the bush.

Grown up in a rather wealthy family with both of her parents being successful business people she overall probably had a pretty boring life. Most of the time Rei would have been by herself in the big house without any siblings or pets since her parents did not want to go through the hassle to keep everything clean. Also they knew that Rei would probably be too lazy to take care of them. Her relation to her family can be described as kinda distant and at an early age she already learned to befriend the loneliness she felt at home so that she does not feel bothered by it anymore. She made a few friends throughout her life but she never bothered to keep in touch with them. Shallow as she was she could not be arsed with so-called "bonds".

Rei attended Kitagawa Daiichi Junior High and even tried out the music club because her parents wanted her to. It was there way of saying that she should stop being a lazy-ass potato. Even though she enjoys music overall she did not like the fact she was forced to somewhat improve at times when she did not feel like it.

Overall her family always tried to put pressure on her to become a smart daughter with excellent grades and many awards but she honestly could not care less about it. Rather than crumbling under the pressure she developed a fake smile and calmness while she started to learn how to ignore all those lectures and just do her own thing. Even if they tried to be strict on her it failed - especially because of the fact that no one would ever be at home to scold her.
