jaydin masters is a slightly above average magic user who essentially threw out all his potential charm just by being the most annoying, least pleasant person to be around. he hangs around people more popular than him in an attempt to feel cool, but he has to ignore the way they barely seem to notice him...
among his favorite people to linger around is perseus dupre, the most popular guy in school. jaydin has an extreme devotion to him (some might almost call it romantic...?) and perseus is always the first to hear any gossip jaydin happens upon.
that's why when allister, kyan and yuka started investigating perseus, jaydin unknowingly clued him in on it, seeing them going places he know they shouldn't be going to. he's a constant annoyance to the trio, always harassing them-- except yuka, who he claims to have a crush on. it'll take a lot for him to redeem himself after unwittingly aiding a murderer, but just maybe he'll pull it off...
jaydin's very favorite person to be around, they're just friendly though! and yes, you can be friends with a guy who barely acknowledges your existence, hey, perseus does like him..!!
