A couple of magic users who happened to be stuck rooming together their first year at the Valiente Institute, after everything that happened with that one guy Jaydin (denied he) liked, Lysander saw a more human side of him and they started to get closer. They decided to keep rooming together the next year, and the year after that... feelings developed, quicker for Lysander but for both of them nonetheless. They get together at prom during final year. Post graduation they move in together! They're really trying their best, ok? They're trying.

Lysander was surprised when Jaydin asked him to go to the big dance their final year of school. They'd roomed together all 3 years so it kind of made sense, but with Jay's (albeit now dropped) past history of being vocally against being perceived as 'gay' it was still kinda unexpected.

Jay however, had a plan here. Over the past school year, and a bit before that, he'd found himself developing feelings for Lys... he tried to write it off initially, but no... they were definitely real, and really intense to boot. So he was going to ask him out. At the dance.

In the days and hours leading up to the dance, Jay was extremely nervous, blushy and just a general mess. Lys repeatedly made sure he was comfortable going with him, but he didn't really suspect why Jay was actually so on edge.

At the dance, they had a fairly fun time, talking and messing around like usual, but when they hit the dance floor and Jay was stuck staring and contemplating how attractive  Lys was, it finally broke him. He confessed his feelings and asked him out, to which Lys accepted.

When they got back to their table, Jay spilled punch all over his shirt out of sheer shakiness over the events, which got them both laughing for a bit. But when it was time to go back to their room... it got awkward again.

Increasingly so when they were getting ready for bed. The two had no issue laying together prior and did it really frequently, but Jay had to ask Lys to tonight. They laid for a bit, both blushing and shy before Jaydin finally mustered the courage to ask if they could kiss. ...which they did. It seemingly cleared some of the nerves though, and they were able to get comfy and actually sleep.

One of the first things they discussed after starting to date was moving in together. After all, they were going to graduate pretty soon and it would be nice to keep living together. It was a little hasty but they figured it would go fine, their parents could help them after all! 

Except... something Jaydin had been trying to ignore... he had a bad feeling about telling his parents about this. He recognized that he hadn't just been repressing his feelings for no reason, but... they would be ok with it right? It couldn't be that bad.

Well. 

It didn't go well. Good thing he had Lysander and his parents, and his friends...

Anyways, he got over it. Who needs 'em anyways right? They have a good life. Things are going great! He's so in love, he really would do anything for Lysander and it's great because it's mutual this time. He's actually genuinely happy for once.
