Heart of the World

Akhira was born in 9978, just a few years before Dark War. His childhood was a bit chaotic in general - parents didn't really took care of him, and once they realized that little Akhira got huge potential to become a shaman, they just left him in the tribe and never came back. In fact, Akhira didn't born with those talents, but got him as an "unexpected gift" from Lamune, spirit of nature. One day his parents just left little Akhira somewhere in the wilds, and Lamune was the one who saved him from beast attack; spirit touched Akhira simply by taking him on hands, and this touch was enough for newborn baby to absorb some magical power from spirit. Akhira's parents never knew that this kind of event ever happened, so Akhira doesn't remember it too.

He grew up hapilly in tribe and joined to school of shamans quickly as well. He was a good student and learned well, ghosts seemed to accept him as shaman. He went through his ceremony with no problem ( part of ceremony is offering own blood to lost souls, and if they will "accept" this sacrifice and will feel good vibes from future shaman, they accept him as a part of connection between mortals and undead souls) . He wanted to become a Highest Shaman, but it became impossible short after ceremony; in 10 000 year Dark War started, bringing darkness and death to the world. Demons started to kill innocent people and take a control over the world; somehow Akhira decided to try and lead people somewhere where it's safe while other experiences shamans protected a group. Akhira and his people were very lucky - they came across random portal to another , unknown world. They came through it and portal closed; this way they found a new small world, which were free from demons or any civilization. Under Akhira leadership, who just took this role quite naturally, they started to build villages, farms and explore this place. Akhira's unique talent of "connecting with nature" became a main and most important thing here, because his energy and magical powers became something like battery for world, and it could be noticed in every aspect, especially when Akhira catched some kind of illness - world became more grey and bad-looking. People always showed love and respect to Akhira, tried to helping him as much as they could. Even if Akhira was their leader and most important figure in the world, he was friendly, kind and with his behavious he wasn't any different than regular folk in his daily life. He was happy and glad to gods that he could survive Dark War and avoid loosing his family and friends. He called their new world G'hianara, which means "Lifesaving idylla" in ancient tribe language.

One day Akhira became very weak; no one knew what was the reason. It got worse day by day and people got scared that Akhira would die, and everyone will die with him when world will fall apart. Also during those days their portal opened and stranger from Aeria came in. People tried to find any reason and solution for illness of their leader, so they killed newcomer in rage and desperation and offered his blood and heart to Akhira. He couldn't explain in, but he felt a need of eating it; shortly after he did it, he got better. People and Akhira himself started to believe that sacrificing strangers from other world is now a neccessary to keep Akhira alive and in good form; they didn't though that it could be vampirism, which Akhira had in his genes, hidden deep inside him. After many years it eventually woke up and Akhira started to need to drink blood from time to time, though no one though about it in this way. From this moment sacrifices were something normal and newcomers who found opened portal and went through it out of curiousity were invited into G'hianara with opened arms, and when Akhira felt weak again, newcomer were killed in ceremony and his blood n heart were offered to leader. Sometimes when no one came, Akhira used his other special ability - he could take full control over some ghosts to make them go to Aeria and bring him his next victim. This way Akhira became a murderer and overwhelming feeling of taking care of this world and his tribe made him cold-hearted, distanced and quite blank with emotions.
