Aura subscribes to the saying "Live Fast and Die Young." She works hard and parties harder. People keep trying to tell her she's going to burn out at this rate, but she's the kind of woman to flip those people off, backflip into a corvette, and drive away, tires squealing.

She came from a stupidly wealthy family, easily and comfortably within what would be the 1% of wealth on Riterra. She could have anything she wanted, but quickly grew a distaste for the upper class. One might chalk this up to the flimsy desires of a young girl, but even into her young adulthood she showed no desire for the life of nobility.

No, instead she got the commoner's taste in her mouth, she wanted to experience things normal people experienced, not the ultra-wealthy. She wanted a resonator, she wanted to hunt, she wanted to hurt, she wanted to bleed. She hated the sanitized, curated life she had led. Life was about experiencing the world, partying with random strangers, all with a reliable partner by her side.

Despite what one might assume about her, she has plans to enjoy life to the fullest and for that she needed money. After a certain incident, she decided her wealth would be earned on the back of her own blood, sweat, and tears; not from a hand-out from mommy or daddy dearest.

On the outside she is a frighteningly powerful figure who never stops, but when she crashes, she crashes hard. It's not uncommon for her resonator to be dragging her back to their little room at the MA Office they happen to be staying at.

Despite how self-destructive she can be, she worries a lot about those close to her, especially for her brother. It was pretty common for them to bicker as siblings do. Though with her brother standing more on par with her now, she has a newfound respect for his power and what he's been through to get there.

Though, a certain incident finally spurned her to leave home, a full-fledged adult. She flutters from city to city, wondering what exactly it is she should be doing.

Aureolin Tomoshibi was born into wealth. The first child of James and Lila Tomoshibi. Her parents found their way into wealth in their younger years and sought to keep it moving up. Though due to their fortune being first generation, they didn't know the ins and outs of being part of the upper class.

Aura and her brother got along as young children, but still had their moments of sibling rivalry. Whenever it came down to it though, they'd stand up for each other when the time called for it.

James and Lila made many mistakes raising their children, as any parent does. However, what they consider their biggest mistake was entering Aura and Shouri into the public education system.

Though Aura and Shouri weren't allowed to have resonators of their own, they would get their experience from their friends.

While in school the siblings would be exposed to many life lessons at a very young age. While the two were jealous of their friend's resonators, they'd learn the cruel truth: their resonators were a necessary safeguard, a weapon to protect themselves with over a friend.

There were several of their friends who were lesser off, that relied on their resonator to make it through the night, despite the spell restrictions placed on them due to being children. These children were expected to protect themselves from the dangers of the world before the age of ten with what would be equivalent to a pocketknife.

For Aura, who had been raised in the safety of the upper class had trouble understanding how her friends wound up scratched up and injured overnight. Coming to school hurt, clothes damaged, burned, and bruised. It eluded what was common sense to her.

She had all kinds of friends from all walks of life. Her parents would favor the friends she brought over from the upper classes of society, though the same respect wasn't paid to them. Eventually she would stop inviting her friends over, opting to hang out at their places.

Then, they met her.

Aura and Shouri met a little Fire resonator named Mila. She was a stray cat a bit younger than Aura that wanted to play with the siblings. They quickly bonded, with Aura noticing very early on that her brother had connected quite strongly with her.

Being the protective older sister, she would watch over her brother as he taught this stray how to read, write, and perform arithmetic. She spent time trying to convince her parents to let Shouri adopt Mila, but they remained firm in their denial.

Finally, they were finally convinced to meet her.

However, the night before they were set to retrieve her, disaster struck. She disappeared from the park she had stayed at, signs of a struggle present.

Aura spent the next few years trying to convince Shouri it wasn't his fault, but he didn't listen. In the interim she'd focus on herself. What would she even do in life?

Meeting Mila affected her as much as Shouri was. She blamed her parents. If they hadn't been such hard asses about taking her in, none of that would have happened. What bothered her most was why. Where did she go? Who took her? The signs of struggle at the scene told her it was violent.

That's why the next stray she came across, she wouldn't hesitate. A certain gruff dog met her eyes and she clicked with him how Shouri did Mila. She dragged the stray off the streets and into a life of luxury, but even so her brother continued to suffer.

It seemed she had a natural talent with resonators as she quickly raised her new dog boy and became a top class hunter, which impressed her parents enough to offer that as a choice for Shouri and to leave her be about her newly found lifestyle.

Regardless, her brother continued to stagnate, focused solely on finding Mila. She stuck around the family home even into her early twenties, worried about her dear brother. Though the catalyst for their departure would be found on nearly the other side of the world in a Natural city known as Nevepunto.
