Balius Dunhoof

BIO

Balius Dunhoof is- or was- a centaur warrior of the Shattered Vale clan, locked in an eternal battle for territory with the Torriks. Balius has never been one for fighting- even as a foal he was more interested in catching frogs and insects than training to use spears and bows. He's a pacifist at heart; he believes that everyone deserves a chance, at least. That doesn't mean he has no sense of justice- he has a pretty sharp one, actually. He's just very trusting and unwilling to harm anyone until he deems it necessary. So of course, when the Torriks arrived in the Shattered Vale and settled in an area not too far away from his clan, being thrust into war with them was not something he wanted to do.

He found solace in Vy'kelrin, who was equally disillusioned with the war after the death of her mentor, but shortly after they befriended each other, Vy'kelrin was arrested for befriending the enemy. It was Balius who broke her out, and with each other's help, the two escaped the Vale and set off through Neo Skylands on a search for a new home. They eventually settled down with the Bloodhearts and now wander around the outskirts with the group.

Balius is awkward and shy. He isn't the best at this socialization thing and finds it difficult to find things to talk about, especially around new people. One of the only people who has seen him not awkwardly shifting around and trying to make small talk is, of course, Vy'kelrin.
